spinel is snapped out of her thoughts as a voice asked from beside her, she turned to her right to see a (h/c) girl in a sort of messy suit while a smug smirk is on her face.

"uhm..." spinel doesn't know what to do with this kind of interaction, you sat down at the empty seat and placed your hands on the counter.

"name's (y/n). how bout yours pumpkin?" spinel's face slowly began to turn red "p-pumpkin?" she mumbled, "s-spinel." she said as she looked down onto the counter.

"what's wrong buttercups?" you said as you started to lean closer to spinel, spinel pursed her lips but then some dude came up behind you.

"hey! that's my seat, broomface!" you and spinel turned around, you gave the guy a nervous grin and held out your hands. "look big guy, the girl already placed her butt on the seat. so you can just find another-" the guy didn't let you finish and slammed his fist on the counter next to you.

"get your ass off." he said while growling, spinel looked around to see all of the people are looking at them. spinel pressed her hands in between her legs then grabbed your wrist to pull you into the dance floor.

the guy followed the two of you with a glare before sitting down to where you were seated.

spinel stopped in the middle of the dance floor as the band started to play a slow romantic jazz. you looked at spinel who's face is bright red now, "spinel?"

spinel just placed her arms around your neck and started slowly swaying to the music. you slowly placed your hands onto her waist while looking at her magenta eyes.

"you're... really beautiful." and you said that will all honesty, "th-thanks.." spinel mumbled "hey, please look at me.." she slowly looked up into your (e/c) hues.

you slowly let your one hand go of her waist and placed it onto her cheek, you rubbed it soothingly and started to lean in slowly.

spinel gulped as she can see you lean in, she also started to lean in. as your lips started to close in, also an inch apart. then the band smashed the drums making the both of you pull away.

you looked at the band with a small frown then looked back at spinel who has a really red face. you giggled and pulled her a little closer to you.

"can i take you home?" you whispered into her ear, "sure.." spinel mumbled, you slowly snaked your hand to hers and started pulling her out of the place.

as the place is behind them, you pulled out your car keys out of your pocket and unlocked it. "get in, baby. we'll have a joyride." you said as you wrapped your arm around her waist.

"m-maybe just drive me home.."
