" stop moving, you're gonna wake her up! "

spinel hissed as she softly lifted your head back to peridot's shoulder, the two gems did end up binge watching the whole enter reboot, though it was horrible, it's less horrible when you're with them.

it's like around midnight, surely, you'd passed out. spinel stretched her arm to reach the remote that is in peridot's hands, she got it and immediately turned off the tv.

as darkness consumed the barn, the moonlight seeping inside. lapis ended up sleeping out in the pickup, the two gems made their gems light up softly to see their precious y/n.

"she's so beautiful..." spinel said as she softly caressed your smooth skin, peridot grabbed your shoulder and lightly places you down to her lap, serving as a pillow.

"now she's comfortable." the green gem grinned, spinel rose a brow at her and huffed. "at first light, i'll be with y/n." peridot snapped her head to spinel.

"how about a no?" spinel narrowed her eyes then an idea came to mind "let's settle this in a rock, paper, scissor match." she said as she placed her fist on top of her palm.

"fine." peridot did the same hand position spinel did, they brough their fist up and down once. as their fists landed on their palm, they brought out their shots.

spinel grinned and pumped her fists in the air "paper beats rock." she giggled. peridot frowned "but that's nowhere scientifically possible!" but spinel shrugged.

"sorry, but i didn't make the rules." spinel looked down at your sleeping state, but peridot blocked her view. "best out of 5?"

the pink gem smirked, "you don't know when to give up huh?"

"never have."

as roosters made their morning calls to wake everyone up, the warm sun slowly rising to greet everyone a good morning. the sound of the rooster is enough to wake you up, slowly fluttering your eyes open.

the first thing you see is the tv and wood. slowly shifting, you saw the two gems (still) playing rock, paper and scissors. they don't seem tired, just determined to whoever goes with you today.

"best out of 6,955,244?" spinel said and was about to drop her fist when she saw you staring at the small duel that is happening all night.

"oh, good mornin' doll." spinel waved, you slowly waved back. you looked up to see peridot, then you realised you're sleeping on her lap.

instinctively, you rolled yourself off and dropped to the loud wooden floor. the two gems looked at you with confusion as to why you did that.

"is something wrong y/n?" peridot asked, you shook your head and sat down properly. "sorry, it's just.." you closed your eyes and pinched the bridge of your nose.

"when i was stuck in that planet, a creature snuck inside my camp and was sucking my blood while i'm sleeping in it's lap." you explained as you rubbed the back of your neck, feeling the place where the wound used to be before steven healed it.

"oh,... i'm sorry." peridot mumbled, you shook your head and shook your head. you immediately stood up but ended up hitting your head on the ceiling. spinel lets out a small laugh before returning a unbothered face (trying to).

"oh right! i won!" spinel said as she stood up from the couch, "what?! no you didn't, i did, you clod!" peridot screeched and standing up as well.

you watched the scene slowly unfold to an argument. you raised your hands and softly placed them on both of their shoulders, "hey hey, calm down. what's this all bout?" you looked at them both in the eyes.

peridot and spinel looked at your hand on their shoulders, their faces completely blushed. "ahm... we were playing rock, paper, scissors to see who's gonna spend time with you today." spinel explained.

"and we got a little carried away..." peridot finished, you looked at these two and you can't help but see them as puppies wanting their owner's love and attention 24/7.

"you know, you really don't have to compete with one another for my attention or time." you said as you softly caressed their cheeks making their blushes worsen.

"i'll be outside to have some fresh air, we can go down the city and grab something to eat." you started heading down the ladder and down the ground.

as you walked out of the barn, soft morning winds pampers your skin and made your hair wave around. the cold morning dew made your shoes' edge wet as you stomped on them.

looking out at the horizon, seeing the rising sun with beach city below. closing your eyes, getting the feel of the warmth of the sun. it's been so long since you felt this, the morning dews, the winds of this planet.

the planet were you stuck in made you an alien to your own planet, where you were born in and grew up.
the pulse of adrenaline coursing inside you is hard to contain as you're always on the edge of dying every single day.

"did she just..."

"SHE TOUCHED MY CHEEK, OH MY STARS!!!"

shouts and screams are heard inside the barn, completely interrupting your moment. looking over your shoulder, you looked at the window to see the two gems babbling something while holding each other.

lapis, who's awakened by peridot's scream. she looked inside to see what the hell is going on, as expected. the two are fangirling.

"okay okay, glasses. let's just go down and play it cool, okay." spinel said, peridot nodded and took a deep breath, suppressing her fangirl self.

as the two gems got down and got out, you placed your hand to your hips and raised a brow at them. "what was that for?" you asked, the two tensed up and gave you a nervous chuckle.

"oh... you see, we spoiled ourselves a little and got a little carried away." peridot said as she tried to make you convinced with her lie.

you know damned well why they screamed like that, but it's cute seeing them like this. so you pretended you bought their excuse.

"fine, come on! let's go down, i'm starving!" you said as you grabbed their hands while heading down to the city.
