" hey... "

she whispered as she softly poked your cheek, you hummed and slowly opened your eyes. as your hues met glimmering magenta ones, a smile crept up to your face.

"hey." you whispered back and shifted yourself to get more comfortable, "wanna get out of bed?" she asked but you softly shook your head "not feeling like getting up."

spinel chuckled, she looked down at your arms, "you've been cuddling that stuffed toy all night." she grumbled "what about me??" she lightly grabbed the stuffed toy in your arms.

you looked down at it and giggled, "are you jealous over a stuffed toy?" spinel pouted. you giggled again, you placed the stuffed toy to the side and moved closer to her with you facing her gem.

you dropped your arm on spinel's waist then looked up to face her. "you're beautiful." she said, her hand softly caressing your smooth cheek and moved the access hair out of your face.

"and you, ma'am, is lovely." you booped her nose, spinel snickered then a grin came onto her face. "here comes..." you looked at spinel with curiosity then you realised where this is going.

"the tickle monster!!" spinel started tickling your sides making you laugh uncontrollably, you tried to crawl away but spinel dragged you back from your ankles as she giggled.

you tried to push her off while your laughter filled the room, then spinel stopped and landed onto your body, completely topping you.

she listened to your rapid heartbeat slowly go back down to normal, the gem lifted her head and placed it down to your chest with a smug look on her face.

you took a final deep breath and rolled your head back a little before looking at spinel, "i love you." she said. you raised your hand then flicked spinel's forehead.

"ow..." she muttered and rubbed her forehead softly, "i love you too, idiot." spinel smiled before leaning in to kiss you, without hesitation, you kissed back and spinel's gemstone glowed warmly as the passionate kiss goes on.

you pulled away as you lacked air, you placed your forehead onto the gems and closed your eyes, enjoying the comfortable silence between the two of you.
