" whoa!! you're just like me but cooler!! "

you stared at awe at spinel with your eyes sparkling like the stars outside the diamond palace.

spinel looked at you with curiosity then looked at steven, "where did you find her?"
"well, me and lapis are going to planet to planet to see if there's anymore gems that are lost then we found y/n, stranded." steven explained.

"well, technically i wasn't stranded because my gem's still intact see?" you pointed at your gem and made a big smile. you continued "i didn't want to go anywhere since i kinda... sorta crashed a party right here in the throne room about 900 years ago, that's why i was on the run."

spinel and steven looked at each other, should they believe what you said but spinel believes entire word of it. "well steven, you didn't tell me i'm standing in front of an infamous gem." she said as she coiled her arms around your neck.

you looked up at spinel's face, without any thoughts in your mind, you traced your fingers on her tear stained mascara. spinel jumped and backed up a little "uh... i'm sorry! i didn't mean to do that, i haven't touched any people or gems for a long time. forgive me." you bowed down.

spinel looked at you and chuckled "well, you touch all of this, all you want!" you lifted your head and grinned, you went to spinel's side again and she wrapped her arm around you.

steven stared at the spinels and sighed "i guess i better head back now." he said as he started heading towards the warp pad, "okay take care. so, y/n i'll show you around the palace since a lot of has changed since you crashed a party."

"tell me how you crashed a party?" spinel asked as the two of you walked around the big palace with no destination in mind.

"no one's gonna- no one's gonna say goodbye...?" steven said as he stepped on the warp pad and continued to watched the two walk away without looking back.

"nevermind." then steven warped away.
