the twinkling stars, the bright shining moon persuading you to come along, the cool night breeze pampering your skin as you looked out into the dark canvas of the campus.

you couldn't sleep.

you're looking out the window with your chin resting on your hand, you looked over to your roommate/lover who's peacefully sleeping and cutely snoring.

you smiled at the sight, sighing, you grabbed a sticky note saying; 'going out for a walk brb luv u♡' you placed the pen down, tore off the sticky note.

you slowly walked up to spinel, carefully shifting her body upward then you pasted the note onto her forehead. you giggled, before you got ready, you kissed spinel's cheeks softly.

you wore your shoes, walked over to the door as you slowly twisted the handle opening the door while it's making small creaky sounds that made you bite your lip.

as you opened the door that enough for you to squeeze through, as you're outside your dorm, you closed the door slowly. when the door closed, excitement started to wave in, you couldn't help but feel giddy and smile as you speed walked out of the dorms.

when you're finally out, you took a deep breath of a fresh cool air, you took small walks while looking up to the sky to admire it's beauty.

then a childhood memory came into mind; you remember how your father always takes you out in night when there's many stars visible and the moon lighting everything, your father always lets you use the telescope.

then your train of thoughts were interrupted "why didn't you wake me up?!" you turned around to see spinel wearing one of your hoodie while slightly shivering, you grinned then you ran towards her for a hug.

"sorry, it's just you were sleeping so cutely." you said as you pecked her cheek, spinel blushed and looked away as she softly push you away.

you giggled at her reaction "geez, aren't ya cold?" spinel asked as she hugged herself, you shook your head. spinel sighed then looked up to the sky "wowie, that's beautiful." she mumbled.

you looked at spinel's eyes to see shimmering while looking at the stars "yeah, it is." then an idea came into your head.

"hey, why don't we borrow the telescope in the science room?" you said with excitement looming over it, spinel shook her head "no way, what if the janitors catches us?" you scoffed and dismissed it.

"nah, nobody's up in this hour. now come on!" you grabbed spinel's hand and dragged her to the science room. "i can't believe we're doing this."

the two of you snuck inside the room, you grabbed your phone to use it as flashlight. then you immediately saw the telescope in the corner. you ran towards it, "hold this." you gave spinel your phone as you carried it.

as the two of you successfully got the telescope out into the open yard, you alined it where it's the best view and check if there's any complications.

"alright, ladies first." you bowed as you offered spinel to look into the telescope, spinel playfully rolled her eyes and looked within.

"well?"   

"i'm not impressed." spinel said as she pulled away from the telescope.

"wha-" before you resort back, spinel placed her index finger on your lips to shut you up.

"i already have the brightest star who's right in front of me."
