" run away! leave! that's what you're only good at! "

your mother screamed at you, you ran out of your room passing your father and out of the door. you ran to the streets with tears welling up in your eyes, you don't have anywhere to go to then you found yourself in front of the forest.

you sniffed, you looked over your shoulder to see the empty residential streets before going inside. stumbling around the dead leaves and fallen branches, you're probably going deeper as you found some broken trees and scratches onto them.

you don't really know how deep this forest goes but it's better this way, then you found yourself in a barren opening. no greenery in sight just rocks all round, then you saw a blue sheet wavering around from the wind attached to a another bolder.

as your first foot left where all the grass is and stepped into a soil, a gem came out of the bolder and lunged at you. the big gem pinned you down to the ground with them growling at you.

you whimpered and shut your eyes tightly as you can feel the gem's hot breath pampering your face "who are you, you petty human? did steven send you?" the gem said with her deep grouchy voice.

you shook your head, still not opening your eyes "n- no, i don't even know him that much." you sputtered out. jasper looked at your small body compared to her's, she slowly stood back up and looked down at you.

as you can no longer feel jasper breathing down your neck, you slowly opened your eyes to see getting a standing ovation by the gem. just by looking at jasper's height intimidates you.

"leave." she simply said before turning back to her bolder of a house, you stood up and patted yourself "i- is it just you living there?" you asked, jasper kept on walking "yes now leave you useless human." she growled and got inside.

you whimpered like a small puppy, you don't really have anywhere to go. you don't even know what's at the edge of the forest, at least you have some company before starvation starts to set in.

you walked to one of the rocks and sat there, looking up at the bright blue sky with little to no clouds dispersing. jasper poked her head out of the blanket to look at you.

"hey! i said leave didn't i?! why aren't you leaving?!" she shouted, you looked towards jasper and gave her a small smile while pursing your lips. "i have no where to go, besides it's nice up here." you said.

jasper rolled her eyes at you "you humans are all the same." she mumbled before getting inside again. you stared at the blue sheet for a few seconds before sighing, is there a river close here? maybe you could set up camp since you live here now, but you don't even know how.     

"well shit."
