v a m p i r e! spinel x reader

living in a village where all of the people are paranoid that a mystical creature like vampires or werewolves will come to this village and eat everybody is stupid.

walking around the streets of your village with a basket of bread in hand, lots of women and men constantly bother you in never go outside during the night as the monster will kill and eat you.

wow, what a story to tell the kids.

you brushed every single one of them and finally got back to your house, you locked the door and settled your basket on the table. sitting in one of the chairs, you wondered what else you should do for the day since there's still lots of daylight left.

you looked over to the fireplace to see all of the wood has turned in ashes, you stood up from the chair and went out in the back to get some wood. as you got out, the garden you have is ever so lively.

you took a deep breath and exhaling, you grabbed the axe that is stabbing through the wood then you pulled it off. grabbing a log and placing it in the platform before swinging your axe over your shoulder then slammed it, splitting the log in half.

this is gonna take awhile, you thought.

as you finally chopped every log, you grabbed a good amount for the fireplace and got inside again to cook you dinner. you actually spent all day cutting all the logs, but it's worth it than sitting around and doing nothing.

you threw the chopped up logs on the fireplace and a can of gasoline as well grabbing the box of matches, you threw the lit stick and threw it to the gas-ed up logs.

it set all the wood on fire, you walked over to one of your cabinets to grab somethings to prepare the stew you wanna eat.

while chopping up the carrots, you stopped as you heard some muffled singing or talking, you don't know. you placed the knife to the side and slowly walked up to the front door.

you leaned your ear against the door and listened "don't be suspicious, do-don't be suspicious." that's what you heard from the other side.

you pulled away and frowned "what the hell.." you muttered before swinging the door open, you saw no one except the dark streets of your village.

"do-don't be suspicious, don't suspicious. don't be suspicious, don't-" then you noticed a pale girl walk- dancing in the middle of the village until she spotted you.

when she turned her head to face you, her glowing eyes made you jump and slam your door while having your back against it.

you breathed heavily and slowly opened your door again to take a peek if the girl is still there. you saw no one, you closed the door and sighed deeply.

as you turned around, you saw the same girl looking at the chopped up carrots on the counter. you screamed but the girl teleported on front of you to clasp her cold hand onto your mouth.

"shh...geez i'm just looking at what you're cookin'." then the vampire lets go of your mouth and looked into your eyes with a small smile "i'm spinel, sorry to barge in uninvited."

you gulped, spinel raised an eyebrow at you "what?" then she looked at her attire and she slapped her forehead "oh! you're afraid 'cause i'm a... vampire!" spinel raised her clawed hands and showed her fangs to you, making you whimper and shut your eyes tightly.

spinel giggled and returned to her docile state "come on, i ain't gonna like suck your blood and let the werewolves devour your remains. nah!" she playfully punched your shoulder and it still make you unease.

then spinel walked over to the counter, grabbed the knife then the unfinished chopped up carrot. "come on, i'mma help ya cook." she offered before slamming the knife on the board, cutting the carrot in half.
