i've never been into a pride parade before. have you?

" where are you going? "

you carefully folded your flag that you've been hiding from your parents, "i'm going to see steven, mom." you said as you zipped your bag close and swung it over your shoulder.

"just make sure you come home before dinner." your dad said, you lazily nodded and walked passed them. you went out the door and hurriedly went to steven's house.

as you got there, you knocked the door and instantly swung open to reveal steven in his normal attire but has the bi flag painted on both of his cheeks.

"are you ready y/n??!" he asked with excitement, you nodded vigorously "ready as i'll ever be!" steven smiled, he grabbed your wrists and pulled you inside his house then made you sit down at his couch.

"hold on, i'll just put on some make up on you." he said as he grabbed a paint box. "don't worry, this is washable." steven sat down in front of you with his paint brush in hand and started putting on some paint on your cheeks.

a few minutes later, steven backed up and looked at what he done. "beautiful. now come on, let's go!!!" he dropped the paint brush and grabbed your wrist again then ran towards the parade.

you held your bag straps tightly and tried to follow steven's speed, then you noticed a crowd waiting with alots of colors all around them.

steven stopped and panted heavily, you looked around to see almost all of the people in beach city is here, also the gems, though you do see some unfamiliar faces.

"connie!!" steven lets your wrist go and ran towards his girlfriend, connie embraced her boyfriend. "steven, connie!" peedee came out of the crowd and embraces the two.

you saw a gay flag attached to peedee's back, connie looked at you "finally! y/n came along!" she got out of the embrace and hugged you tightly, you slightly whimpered at her strength and tried to hug back the girl.

"so what will be doing?" you asked as you took your bag off and opened it, "we'll have fun and also the people from empire city and my collage friends are gonna come here too!" you smiled, you took your lesbian flag out then wore it as a cape.

"nice." steven, connie and peedee cooed, you giggled, you wrapped your arm over steven and connie's shoulder "let's make this the best pride parade ever!!"

the beach shore is completely packed with queers, some people are playing with the gem on the water. someone even learned how to fly with an amethyst (they tossed them in the air)
you even get to see so many couples, it makes you kinda want a girlfriend.

overall, this is the best pride parade you've ever had.
