spinel x c o r r u p t! reader

running through the forest of beach city, spinel ran away from the from the crystal gems. as things are going swell, the city is fixed by steven from the injector.

but, spinel started over complicating things.

spinel finally stopped running and looked around to where is she. specifically, the middle of nowhere. spinel's panting came into a halt when she heard growling somewhere.

she looked around and saw a massive bear like corrupt slowly walking out of the tree lines. the corrupt is (h/c) and (f/c) lines with spikes sticking out of it's back. it roared at spinel and started charging at her.

spinel curled herself into a ball as the corruptionsl's massive stomps on the earth started to close in on her. then it's footsteps stopped and a whimpered was heard.

spinel slowly opened her eyes to see chains around it's neck and the corruption is waving it's paw to spinel as if asking for help. spinel stood up and looked behind the corruption to see the chain attached onto a tree.

spinel offered her hand "okay, calm down big guy. i'll... i'll help ya okay?" she said as she started to walk closer to the beast, the corruption lowered it's head for spinel to reach the chain, she could just extended her limbs but this is better.

spinel gripped the chains tightly and started pulling it apart, the chains are really thick but it started to slowly break. until spinel fully ripped it apart and removed on the beast's neck.

the corrupt shook it's head and looked down at spinel, who backed up a little as she doesn't know what to do next with them. the beast whimpered and lightly roared as if it's trying to say it's thanks.

"uhm... you're welcome."

then a voice started to come closer to the both of them "spinel! spinel! come back-" steven came out of the bushes and saw the gem with a corrupt one.

the beast growled at the gem hybrid and went in front of spinel, steven raised his hands slowly "easy there, i'm not gonna hurt you." he said as he slowly walked forward but the beast roared at him making him step back.

spinel step forward and raised her arms to calm the beast down "calm down! he's just.. a friend." the way spinel said friend is filled with uncertainty.

the beast did calm down but still growled at the boy. "i have to uncorrupt you, spinel can you take it to the ocean? it's too big for my bathtub." spinel looked at steven then up to the beast.

spinel jumped up high enough for her to reach one of it's horns and sat on top of it's head. "alrighty, let's take a dip in the ocean." she said as she patted it's head.

the beast huffed and started moving to the ocean. actually, the beast is running making the earth shake and spinel wrapped her arms around the beast's horns.

then the beast came into a halt in the shoreline, spinel stood back up with her legs wobbly from run the beast took. a few minuets later, steven's voice is heard again from below.

spinel looked down to see a small panting steven with some bottles in his hands, "okay... get in the water and i'll.. pour this." he said in between pants and raised the bottles up in the air.

spinel jumped down onto the sand and gave the beast a pat before it goes to the ocean. steven stepped in the water and dropped a single droplet onto the water from the bottles and them licked his index figure and dipped it.

the colors of diamonds started to swirl around the beast and a light engulfed it. a few seconds later a splash was heard, spinel quickly went towards it to see a (favorite gem) with horns.

"come on, let's get her inside."
