there she is again.
looking over her shoulder to see the same girl looking over the river on the same spot and the same bridge.
spinel started seeing the girl three weeks ago, first she doesn't pay any mind of it seeing as probably just sight seeing. but as the second week came, spinel started to feel like what she's doing isn't sight seeing anymore.
as spinel kept on pedalling as she's on her routine morning cycling, she always 'tried' to approach the girl but she always back out the last second.
spinel stopped at the convenience store, parked her bike and patted the back of her pants to feel her wallet. she got inside the store, letting the cool air of the air conditioner cool her body, walking through the linoleum aisles stacked with snacks.
grabbed a big bag of doritos and some cup noodles to accompany that, placing her stuff on the counter letting the cashier do their thing.
spinel pulled her wallet out, as the cashier told her the total cost, she placed a 20 dollar "keep the change." spinel said as she grabbed the plastic bag.
spinel got onto her bike again, letting the plastic dangle on one of the handles. she started heading back to her place, meaning she has to pass the bridge again.
looking to the side, the girl is still there, no bothering on turning around to see if anyone is looking at her which is spinel. spinel hummed and looked at the horizon, contemplating if tomorrow will be the day of her finally talking to the girl.
maybe.
as spinel arrived at her house, her chained up her bike and quickly headed inside. she placed the plastic bag down at the dinner table and headed to her room, she collapsed down on the bed not bothered if the pillows smell like sweat later.
opening a drawer open, she pulled out her phone and opened it. notifications from friends just checking in, spinel sighed and closed her phone, boredom consuming her again.
living alone has it's perks but lonesome as she's used to noise kudos on living in a loud house for almost her entire life.
"i wonder what she looks likes." spinel asked herself as her mind wanders about the girl on the bridge.

morning finally came, spinel quickly went down and got on her bike. she peddled as fast as she can to reach the bridge.
with the cold wind hitting spinel's face, also letting her jacket fly behind her. as spinel reached the bridge, she got off and started walking towards the spot the girl usually is.
the more she got closer, the more she sees stuff lying on the floor but the girl is not there. spinel thought it'd be trash that the assholes left but as she's just inches away, her eyes widened as it's a-
shrine.
spinel slowly made her bike against the bridge's concrete railings and walked towards it. she kneeled down in front of it and looked at the letters of 'we miss you' 'another angel lost' and stuff.
small polaroid pictures are pinned or pasted, then she looked at the name engraved on the concrete.
"y/n l/n." spinel whispered, she looked at your smiling portrait. "so.. this is how you look like.."
"i wish i could've known you, you seem like a sweet person." spinel made a weak smile, she did the cross and prayed for you to rest in peace.
she stood up and got on her bike again, as she started peddling, looking over her shoulder again to see you. the spirit you.
spinel hits the breaks and looked at you, you gave a small smile and a wave before slowly disappearing into the winds.
"hey..."
