It has been more than six months since Kazumi joined the corps. She managed to be friends with the Pillars and some lower ranked slayers. This time, she's at her estate sipping on a cup of tea while watching Kano and Ringo when her crow, Taro, landed beside her.
"Master! Master!" Taro called for her attention.
"Is there something you would like to say Taro?" Kazumi said turning her head to Taro.
"The Pillars would like to invite you at the Ubuyashiki Estate, they have a gathering to be held tonight since it's the rest day for the Pillars." Taro answered.
"*sigh* What if I say I can't come?"
"Should I tell them Master?" Taro asked tilting his head a bit to the side.
"Try to tell them that 'I would like to apologize since I can't come because of some things I have to do.' "
After that, Taro flew back to the Ubuyashiki Estate to tell them about his Master's words. He landed inside the room where the Pillars are. They sat around a wide long table waiting for the foods to be served. He told them about Kazumi's words.
"WHAT?!" Sanemi nearly grabbed the crow but thankfully, Gyomei stopped him.
"That's really sad then, it'll be very wonderful to have her here." Mitsuri said with a solemn look.
"Then let's go to her place! That'll be more flamboyant for us to do than send her a message!" Tengen smiled proudly at his recommendation.
Shinobu flinched a little from hearing his words and thought.
'Oh please no, it might be chaos.'
"Yeah perhaps we should—"
"I'll go there myself." Shinobu cut Obanai from his words standing up ready to leave.
"Should I—"
"There's no need Tomioka-san." Shinobu answered cutting Giyu off from his question.
Taro instantly flew back to warn Kazumi about Shinobu coming to the estate to get her. Taro managed to arrive on time.
"Master! T-The Insect Pillar is here to see you!" Taro warned while panting on her lap.
Ringo and Kano are currently sitting beside her. She turned her head to Ringo.
"Please hide me Ringo-san." Kazumi calmly said smiling at Ringo.
Kano sweatdropped at this. Not soon after that, Kiori arrived.
"Kazumi-sama, Kocho-san is—"
"I know. Please don't tell her where I am." Kazumi cut Kiori from her words.
"You know what to do Kiori-chan." Ringo said looking at Kiori.
Kiori just nodded and run back. She came back to see Shinobu being accompanied by a kakushi.
"I'm really sorry Kocho-san but, Kazumi-sama's not in her room. Ringo-san said that she went out." Kiori said keeping her composure.
"Really? Seems like I came late." Shinobu replied looking disappointed.
"Where did she go?"
"I'm sorry, I don't know." Kiori apologized.
Shinobu went out of the entrance of the estate hearing Kazumi's not home. A smile showed on her face as she vanish from her spot.
"Ringo-san!" Shinobu said as she suddenly appeared at Ringo's side.
Ringo didn't flinch but Kano spilled his tea from shock. Shinobu didn't see Kazumi sitting with them.
