Louis is an ordinary kid at Hall cross high school in his town of Doncaster, when he meets the new girl, Valarie. Valarie is unemotionally stable and gets beaten by her father, this has happened ever since her mother died. She has cut and can’t survive sometimes. Louis being the boy he is becomes friends with Valarie and wants to help her get through it, but then falls in love with her. She loved him but she didn’t want to drag him into her dark, dark world even though he wants t help, will she let him though?
