During the two weeks that past Drystan changed. The little boy that he used to be died in the cell. He looked it too. His clothes were covered in dirt, his once black curls were greasy. Bags were under his eyes. He looked like hell.

During one of the nights he found out he could enter ones dreams. He found out by entering the prisoner across from his cells dream on accident. Drystan was confused when it first happened but he could manipulate it to his will. He couldn't hurt the person physically but simply drive them paranoid and put thoughts into their head.

The morning after, the prisoner was frantically looking around his cell and picking at his nails. He had no idea Drystan was responsible. Drystan learned a few of the limits with his new found power. If used correctly he could cause chaos.

The thoughts that ran through his head was torture his father in his dreams, or even his sweet mother. Make them pay for putting him in that dark cell. Each night he tried but he just couldn't reach their minds. He knew he had to train and get stronger.

The trial was coming up for the kingdom. The people wanted to see the princes head on a pike. The king himself brought the kingdom into the center to share his thoughts.

"Friends, family. I have gathered you in our loved square to talk about the trial.-" Yells and screams irrupted across the crowd. "SILENCE!" The peoples interruptions stopped the only noises you could hear were from children crying. "Now, I know you all want my son exacuted as do I. But, our gods want justice. The 3 will not be happy if we do not give the prince a chance. I will swear this he will answer for his crimes against the throne. He will not walk free!" The king took a breath as cheers irrupted. He nodded to the guards and walked to the castle doors.

Maria watched her husband with admiration but sadness. She was a mother and queen. She had no idea if she would be able to watch her son die.

"I pray to The 3 please give my son justice." She whispered. A tear slipped she quickly wiped it before facing the guards and king who were walking towards her. She smiled at him he didn't reciprocate it, he just walked passed. His cloak flowing behind him.

Maria sighed before following her own guard following her.

After the king had woken up he spent a week healing. After that he quickly went up to his tower and planned. He wouldn't tell Maria what he was doing.

The king walked through the halls of the castle. He was going to talk to his son- something he hadn't done yet- about the trial.

Will entered the dungeons getting yelled at but with a single glare those certain prisoners would shrink away.
