"You wanna go all the way?" asked Paul in surprise. "You know this can't be changed once it happens."
"I know." Tommy answered from his spot on the floor. "Please Paulie, I love you."
Paul rejoined Tommy on the floor and pulled him into a hug. "I have been waiting to hear you tell me that, but I don't want this to be a regretful situation."
Tommy held up his hand with the ring on it. "I realize now that if you just wanted to use me, you wouldn't have gone to the trouble to buy me a ring. You would have just screwed me and tossed me." "Please don't break my heart by refusing me."
"Baby, look at me and listen. I will not EVER toss you away. You're not trash and I'm not that shallow." "We will make love, I promise. Right now I'm not prepared and I refuse to hurt you." "Before you get upset, let me explain. I didn't bring anything with me so if you can wait, we will go get what we need and then I will continue. Okay?"
Tommy finally nodded and stood up. "Alright." "I understand." "I didn't realize you don't carry them around. Eric and Gene do."
"Gene also carries his own utensils so....."
Tommy headed to the shower while Paul started picking up the room. When Tommy finally came out, Paul met him with a smile. "We'll go by the house and check on it first. Then we can go, uh, shopping and get what we need. How does that sound?"
"Could I go alone? I-I-I have something in mind."
"Sweetie, you're blushing." "Are you a bit embarrassed?" Paul teased.
Tommy ducked his head and grabbed his bag. "W-w-we s-s-should check out now."
Laughing , Paul followed.
Tommy kept his eyes on the floorboard on the way home.
