A few hours later, Tommy was placed in a private room and hooked up to an I.V. "You are severely dehydrated and exhausted. Your body is trying to recover but is losing. We will keep you here for observation at least three days." said the doctor firmly.

Tommy just nodded as he was chastised. Looking at Bruce, he pouted as the doctor left. "I guess I put myself in this situation."

"Yes, you did." "The pouting isn't going to work on me." "Now, I'll be willing to go get you something but I won't pull strings to get you out early."

"I'm fine. " Tommy replied sulkily.

Bruce rolled his eyes as he left, trying to not laugh. He ran into Gene in the elevator and told him. "OOH sounds like Paul."

In the cafeteria they met up with Paul and Eric who were already at a table. Bruce filled in the other two. "He's pouting."

Eric and Gene looked at Paul. "Just like you."

Paul laughingly protested as he flipped them off.

Upstairs more blood work was being done along with other tests. Tommy was hoping he could be left alone soon to sleep. He was irritated, upset, scared and tired all at the same time.

Finally he snapped, "Are we almost done?" He refused to let anything be done. "How much blood needs to be taken?!"

The nurse finished and left. She told Paul who was coming up to see Tommy. "He's not willing to let us continue. Luckily I think it's enough."

Paul thanked her and went in. "Well, are you over your tantrum? I understand you don't want to be here but I want you to feel better." He sat down and took Tommy's hand. "Look, baby, I'll stay with you, but stop sulking."

Tommy reluctantly agreed to stop sulking as he closed his eyes. "I'm sorry. " he murmured. "It's my fault." "If I hadn't...." he trailed off as he fell asleep.
