Heading Out TO Go Christmas Shopping

December 1st found everyone waking up to a snow fall. Tommy  woke up first and headed down to make coffee and pancakes. Pancakes were the only thing he knew how to cook. He had become one month along on the 17th. of November. Since Paul was Jewish and the babies weren't old enough to celebrate, Tommy didn't feel the need to worry about decorating for Christmas.

When Paul came down, he found Tommy staring out the window. "Baby? You want to go Christmas shopping today?" "I think you need to get out of the house." 

"You want to go shopping for a holiday you don't celebrate?" 

"But you and Eric do. Our girls will." "Come on, we'll eat and get ready."

"Alright, fine." "Anything you want."

Paul was suddenly hit with the reality that his husband was feeling blue. "Look, we can decorate and everything. I love shopping as you know." 

Tommy rolled his eyes as he sipped coffee. "Sure, I guess we can. Why don't you call Gene and Eric and even Bruce to see if they want to join us?" 

After eating and washing the dishes, Tommy headed up to check on the girls. He found them awake and called down to see if Paul could bring them bottles.

"Hey, the others are coming here to meet  up. Around ten. You shower and I'll feed the girls."

"I'll feed one ." 

Paul purposely took Hannah and handed Taylor to Tommy. She kept her big brown eyes on him the whole time. After feedings and changings, Paul dressed them in green holly covered sleepers with big white bows. "They're bigger than they are." laughed Tommy.

While Tommy showered, Paul fixed the diaper bag and extra bottles. 

Gene came in carrying  Draco. He had dressed him in a green and red elf sleeper while Delilah wore a green and white elf sleeper. She was giving Eric hell about the matching hat.

"Well, we know who runs that house." laughed Bruce. "It's sure not Gene or Eric."

Tommy came down in an oversized sweatshirt and a tired look on his face. Gene shot Eric and Bruce a look as he walked out.

"Already?" he whispered to Paul. "Damn!"

"Yeah. October."

Bruce shook his head and got in the back seat with the kids and Tommy. He locked eyes with Eric and Gene . They all shook their heads as Paul pulled out.
