While Paul and Gene were at dinner, Pat stopped by the hospital to talk to Tommy. He brought dinner with him along with dessert and chocolate.
"Hey, Tommy. I brought dinner so we can hang out for awhile. I have dessert and chocolate too."
Tommy perked up at the word chocolate. "Come on in. I haven't seen anyone in a few hours."
Pat placed all the food items on the bedside table and pulled up a chair. He helped Tommy sit up where he could eat at a comfortable position. While they ate, Pat talked to Tommy. "So, I wanna go with you to therapy. " "I know you don't want to talk about going, but I want you to go."
"You're just as bad as Paul. He thinks I'm crazy and wants me to go so I'll be out of the way!" "I AM NOT CRAZY!!!!"
In his gentle manner, Pat replied," If I thought you were crazy, I'd have told you already." "Now stop and listen to me." "Jaime told us all what he did to you in Ireland. Don't you remember any of it?" "You kept getting drink after drink brought for you until you were too drunk to care. He convinced you to take a walk with him to his hotel room where he, let's just say, got you into his bed and then you two.....um, had sex like when you first got together. Afterwards, he dressed you and led you back to the pub where you found your way back to the hotel. That's when Paul found you stumbling around."
Tommy dropped the plate he was holding and burst into tears. "He...he...did what?!" "Oh no, Paul will never forgive me now. He's gonna break up with me! "
Pat had to call a nurse for a sedative when Tommy grew hysterical.
