On the way home from the get together, Tommy asked Paul if he could make a detour to the lake. "It's so pretty at night. I like to sit on the shore and watch the stars."
Since Tommy was in a good mood, Paul agreed and asked Tommy if he wanted to drive there. "Can you drive a stick ?"
Tommy smirked and winked at his husband. "Not a vehicle but I can drive yours."
Paul grinned back at his husband. "I know you can. You do know how to use your mouth too."
Tommy blushed as he knew what Paul was implying. "Do you want to before we go home?"
"Maybe."
Pulling into the parking lot, Paul parked and popped the trunk. Pulling out a blanket, he laid it on the grass. Placing the girls on the corner he covered them up and sat down. He pulled Tommy down on his lap and kissed the back of his neck.
They laid on the blanket as Tommy pointed out different constellations to Paul. He showed his husband the brightest ones and told him the names.
"Is this a hobby? I could buy you a--- what's the thing called you look at stars with?"
Telescope. The one I want is expensive." "I've always wanted to own one but it is what it is." He told Paul the name of it.
Paul told himself he'd buy Tommy one for Christmas. "Do you realize you're barely 28 and this is our first Christmas together? When we're celebrating 50 years together, we'll bring the grandkids out here to celebrate together."
"Paul, are you willing to keep me around that long?"
"Nuh huh. None of that bullshit." "I've already had this discussion with you."
Tommy didn't want to ruin a perfect moment.
