At breakfast the next morning, Paul asked Tommy to listen to him and not say a word. He launched into a long heartfelt speech that basically told Tommy he would be lost without him and the girls. "No matter how you feel I want to know. I don't care if you're moody or snappy, I want to know."

Tommy nodded as he sipped his coffee. "All I can say is that I'm glad you love me. If you knew everything about me you'd run as fast as you could."

"I know what happened in Dublin and I haven't. I know about the day after you bailed blondie out and I'm still here. So do you want to rephrase that?"

Looking up in shock, Tommy stammered, Y-y-you do?"

"Yes. I know you let him in and you two used the guestroom bed. Your eyes gave you away, sweetheart." "You can't lie to me." "EVER!"

Tommy almost dropped his coffee cup in shock. "W-W-We were just talking." "I swear."

"You can't lie, baby." "Was I mad? Maybe at first but I'm not perfect either."

"Y-y-you cheated?"

"Thought about it but no." "I'll admit I was tempted in Europe but I flew home to see you instead."

"Was it Gene?"

"Yuck! Hell no!"

Tommy took this bit of news with a blow. He realized that he had probably driven Paul to be tempted. Getting up and walking to the window, he stared at the snow. "Paul, do you want me to leave ?" "I can't be the perfect partner you need."

"I just said I'm not either." "NO, I don't want you leaving."

Paul walked over and wrapped his arms around Tommy. "Don't ever leave me." "I want us to work on our relationship every day, not just if we argue."

Kissing Tommy's neck he bit down slightly to mark him. "I love you."

"I love you too." "I want pizza."

Paul started laughing as he stared at his husband. "Now?"

"Yes."

Paul headed to the kitchen to see if he had the ingredients for pizza.
