The bus filled quickly with suitcases, one very angry band manager and the four band members. Desperately looking towards Paul, Tommy finally looked down and tried to keep from crying.
Finally, Paul got up and sat back down next to Tommy. "I don't know what happened at the cafe but I'm ready to listen if you want to talk." "Talk to me."
"I don't know if I can even finish this part of the tour. I'm so confused, upset, scared...I just don't know."
"Explain."
"Confused about my feelings towards Jaime and...um... never mind." "Upset for the same reason." "Scared of those two in there." "They're going to get us kicked out of everywhere."
"Nah, they'll eventually settle down."
Paul finally got Tommy to tell him everything before he gently squeezed his hand. "If it makes you feel better, I'll stay here tonight. Do you want to share a blanket?"
"Yes. Thanks."
Finally the bus grew quiet as they all drifted off to sleep.
