FLASH BACK: A week before the current leg of the tour:
Tommy and Jaime were spending their last free week together. Tonight they were at dinner at a cute out of the way restaurant at Cannon Beach.
"Jaime, are you gonna be okay when I leave for the next leg of the tour? I know it's only eight weeks but I just wanna make sure."
Jaime reached over and squeezed Tommy's hand. "Of course I will. I've always been before. Are you having doubts? You've been a little distant lately." The curly haired blonde squeezed Tommy's hand hard enough to make him wince and look up.
"Why wouldn't I be?" asked Tommy. "Let's just enjoy our dinner. Okay?"
"No. I want an answer about as to why you've been practically ignoring me or if you don't then you find an excuse to get away from me as early as possible. In fact you completely ignored my question just now. Answer me. Why are you ignoring the question?"
Tommy took a long swallow of his water and sighed. " I'm not ignoring you. I just have a lot on my mind. Could we please finish dinner without fighting?" Tommy threw a glare at Jaime and shoved a forkful of pasta in his mouth. Jaime shoved his plate away and stormed out.
People turned around to stare causing Tommy to sink down in his seat. He asked for a to-go container before paying quickly and leaving. His face was flaming.
