While Tommy took a long shower, Paul set the table and lit the candles. He truly hoped dinner would go as planned. he had turned both his and Tommy's cell phones off and locked the doors and windows.
When he heard the shower turn off, Paul placed dinner on the table and grabbed a rose from the vase. He knocked softly on the bathroom door to let Tommy know he was there. "Hey, dinner's on the table."
Opening the door, Tommy found Paul waiting on him. "It's beautiful." he said, seeing the rose.
Paul escorted his boyfriend to the kitchen and pulled out his chair. Tommy blushed as he sat down.
"I truly hope you enjoy this."
"I enjoy everything you do for me. It's overwhelming to think someone actually loves me enough to go to all the trouble."
Paul handed Tommy a glass of wine and proposed a toast. " May we have many more of these nights together."
Tommy clinked his glass to Paul's and drank the wine in four swallows. He was feeling several ways at once so he hoped the wine calmed his nerves.
Paul served the baked lasagna and vegetables after the salad was eaten. "OOH it smells wonderful." sighed Tommy.
Paul noticed Tommy drank more wine than he actually should be so he discreetly moved the bottle until most of the food was gone. "Chocolate?" he asked.
"Yes, I love chocolate."
Paul cut a large slice of cake and fed Tommy from his plate. "Come sit on my lap." he said, as Tommy sighed after eating the first bite. "I can feed you better that way."
Letting the wine make the decision, Tommy nearly knocked over the chair sliding into Paul's lap. He wrapped his arms around Paul as he ate from the fork. "What's this called?" he asked, thoroughly enjoying the chocolate cake.
Smirking , Paul winked and said, "Better Than Sex cake." He burst out laughing at Tommy's expression. "You've never heard of it?"
"No!" "Is it?"
"I don't know. You'll have to be the judge of that."
Tommy turned red and buried his head on Paul's shoulder. He was tipsy now whereas Paul had only had one glass. "Aw, you're blushing." he teased.
After the last bite, Paul pushed the plate away and whispered in Tommy's ear. "If you can walk straight, head to my bedroom. Wait on me, okay?"
Giggling, Tommy stood up and headed to the bedroom. Paul blew out the candles and followed.
He found Tommy waiting and whispered instructions to him. "I'll be right back. "
When Paul ushered Tommy into the bathroom, the tub was waiting along with candles and more wine. The dim lighting hid Tommy's flushed cheeks. "Undress me ." he told Paul boldly.
"Patience." "Uh huh, no pouting." he replied, unbuttoning his shirt. Tommy's was next.
Finally Paul stepped into the tub pulling Tommy on top of him. The younger man was wearing a fresh bite on his neck as was Paul.
For the next few heated hours, Paul and Tommy alternated being in charge and telling each other what they liked. Finally managing to stumble back to the bedroom, Paul covered them up as they fell asleep.
Around ten, Paul woke up suddenly and looked over to the other side of the bed. Tommy was sleeping on his side, a peaceful look on his face. Paul's head hurt a bit but not too much. He slid out of bed and headed back to the bathroom. After cleaning it and the kitchen, Paul took a quick shower and slipped back into bed.
"Tom, I hope you don't regret this tomorrow. " he whispered before placing a kiss on Tommy's cheek. He knew Tommy would have more than a hangover the next morning. He turned back on their phones before drifting off back to sleep.
