I Don't Think I Can Do This(Paul)

Paul finally just broke down and told the others he didn't think Tommy would recover in time to tour. "I know you can for awhile, Bruce, but could you the whole tour?"

'Yes, I can. I'm willing on one condition." "We hold a press conference and tell our fans honestly what's up. Let them make the decision to attend or not."

"I'm for it. " said Gene. "Eric? Paul?"

"I guess." came Eric's reply. "I feel we should tell TC though." 

"That might be the kicker to get him to cooperate and get better or it might not." said Bruce. 

"If we do this, I'm gonna request single rooms. I'm not putting Tom through the stress of thinking I'm always with a groupie."

"Separate rooms would do just that." put in Eric. "I'll room with Gene and you and Bruce share. Tom trusts Bruce not to lie to him so he could be reassured that Paul was behaving."

"I suppose you're right." sighed Paul. "Alright, I'll tell him." 

"No. I will." said Bruce. They hammered out arrangements and parted. 

"Paul, go home for awhile. I'll stay." said Gene. "Eric can come in at two and Bruce can stay from seven to ten."

Paul drove around for awhile thinking.
