As Paul wheeled Tommy into the cafeteria, he kept his eye on him. Tommy had been constantly twisting his ring around like he was nervous or upset. Finally Paul took his hand. "What's wrong, sweetie?"
"It's loose. I guess I've lost weight since I've been here."
Paul agreed as he pushed the wheelchair to the table. "Tom, I think we should talk."
"Are you breaking up with me?" asked a worried Tommy. "Please Paul, I'm sorry for everything. Just don't leave me. I love you and I'm scared and I..."Tommy was cut off by Paul placing his hand on tommy's cheek. "Sh, let me get a word in."
Paul told Tommy he wouldn't ask him to commit to long-term in patient counseling if it still made him uncomfortable. "I would like you to see a therapist while you're here though."
"Alright. I guess I can do that." Tommy finally sighed. "I don't want to bare my soul but I will if it helps me get back to touring sooner."
After the agreement, Paul squeezed Tommy's hand and asked him what he wanted to order.
They had an actual discussion about everything but band related stuff.
