Special Plan Before Leaving

Knowing Tommy wouldn't be able to sight see much, Paul found things for them to do that didn't involve far distances from the hotel. It finally became the last day before they were to fly home. Paul had something special planned. 

"Tom, I know you haven't felt very good this whole trip so I hope you like what I planned for today." "I need you to find your most comfortable pair of shoes." 

"I'm wearing them."

Paul led Tommy a short bus ride from the hotel and blindfolded him. "Don't look!"

"I can't see anything."

Taking Tommy's hand, Paul helped him down a flight of stone stairs and untied the blindfold. "Open."

Tommy's jaw dropped. "It's beautiful!" 

Paul had found a private lake and set up a picnic. He had Tommy sit down on the blanket and take his shoes and socks off. "I'm pampering you for the net few hours." Paul opened the basket and began setting out food. Tommy watched quietly. 

"One last thing. Let's go for a swim." said Paul, holding out a small bad. "I packed you some swimwear."

"Where do I change?" asked Tommy looking around. 

"Here, it's just us." Paul handed him a towel to wrap around himself. Tommy shyly stepped out of his shorts and boxers before pulling the swim trunks on. Paul just changed with no towel. "I swear!" laughed Tommy. "You have no shame."

"Nope."

Walking into the water, Tommy found it soothing. He almost fell asleep while floating. Paul's high pitched squeal made him jump. "What?!"

"A damned crab bit me!"

Tommy busted out laughing. "Oh my!" 

As they headed back to the hotel, Tommy put his arms around Paul's waist and leaned in to kiss him. "I love you so much! I'm so sorry for all the heartache I've caused."

"Sh, let's leave it in the past." 

Back in the hotel, they showered together and got in the bigger bed after pulling on sleep wear and packing. Paul kissed Tommy goodnight and dimmed the bedside lamp. He stayed awake for awhile.

After checking to make sure tommy was asleep fully, Paul dumped all the sharp objects in the hotel trash can and covered them up. he wanted nothing like that on the plane ride home.
