"Come on, Paul!" called Tommy from the doorway. "You said you'd be my caddy today."

"I'm coming. Hold on." came the reply. "I can't get my hair right."

Tommy rolled his eyes, walked into the bathroom and stuck a visor on Paul's head. "Now, we're ready."

"Ewww! It smushed my hair."

"You're still hot! Now come on."

Tommy followed Paul out of the hotel room and down the hall. "Let me know if I need to carry the golf bag." "It might be too heavy." he teased.

"Ha ha."

They walked out just as the taxi pulled up. Tommy put his golf bag in the back and got in after Paul, pulling the door shut. Giving the driver the location, they settled back and held hands. Paul kept running his finger over Tommy's ring as they headed to the golf course.

Tommy wondered what was going on but didn't ask.

Finally they got out and paid the driver. After the taxi pulled out, Tommy turned to look at Paul. "What's going on?"

"Your ring is scratched up." "Did you catch it on something?"

"I got my hand caught in the elevator yesterday. It shut on me as I was getting out." "It hit my hand and opened again."

Paul took the golf bag and nodded. He waited on Tommy to show him what club he needed. Tommy started trying to explain the difference but ended up just giving Paul the numbers on the club.

"I know you find this boring. I'll show you how to properly hit a golf  ball if you promise not to hit me with it."

Paul swore he'd be careful. Nibbling on Tommy's earlobe, he stood in front of him and took a practice shot. "If I don't hit you, will you reward me?" he grinned wickedly.

"Hmmmm, maybe."

They made it through the whole 18 rounds without incident. Tommy high-fived Paul and got a long kiss in return.

"Well, you actually did okay."

Back at the hotel, Tommy was in the shower while Paul ordered room service. Paul had an idea in mind.
