At the Chinese restaurant, The two of them were led to a small corner table. Paul ordered a bottle of wine and Tommy ordered water, "I don't want to risk alcohol right now. I just now am able to keep food down. I didn't want to say anything but I've lost a lot of weight."

Paul narrowed his eyes at Tommy's comment. "How much is a lot?" "The truth!"

"Thirty five as of last night. That's what the letter was." "I asked the doctor for a print out of my records so I can track my recovery process." "Did you think it was something else?"

"Yes." said Paul. "It's not important though. "

Tommy realized what Paul was getting at. "You thought it was from Jaime?"

A nod as the food came. "I don't want to fight. "

"Me either."

Over food and drinks, Paul asked to see the paperwork. "I want to help you recover."

Tommy said he'd have to get it from the car when they got home.

"Alright."

Finally, the meal was over and they left hand in hand.

In the car, Paul pulled Tommy into a kiss before pulling out.

"I love you Paul." said Tommy as they pulled on to the highway.

"I love you too."

Paul held onto Tommy's hand as he drove.

When they got home, Paul helped Tommy inside before he brought his bag in.

Together they read over the paperwork. Paul only understood half of it. He asked Tommy if he knew what it meant.

"99% of it." came the reply. "I'm going to have to show my doctor when I make an appointment."

Paul asked if he could go with him. "I'd like to see what the doctor says."

Tommy agreed and told Paul he was heading upstairs. "I'm a bit tired. I'm going to take a nap."

Paul wondered if he was going to be a father soon.

When Tommy fell asleep, Paul headed out to the grocery store.
