About halfway through the flight, Tommy woke up just in time to make it to the tiny bathroom to puke. He had to leave the door open to fit inside which caused the other passengers to comment. That in turn brought Tommy to tears which made Paul mad. Getting up, he squeezed in with Tommy and turned on the sink. "Wash your mouth out and we'll go back to our seats."
"Paul. I'm sorry. I can't help being sick."
"Sh. It's okay. Some people are just assholes."
Tommy tried to go back to sleep but he was uncomfortable now. He felt tears forming and brushed them away.
"Sh, sh. It's okay."
Paul gently rubbed Tommy's back until he calmed down. "I threw up on my first flight. I didn't even make it to the bathroom. I was only able to lean over and throw up right in Gene's mouth. Of course, Ace cackled so loud that Gene woke up. Peter was crying from laughing so hard and I was just in tears." "Gene didn't sit near me the rest of the flight."
"Oooh gross!" Tommy tried not to laugh but he did . '' I bet Gene was mad."
"You could say that."
Tommy finally fell back asleep. Paul stayed awake the rest of the flight.
