Tommy woke up the next morning sore but happy. His husband was still snoring softly on the in-room couch , curls everywhere.

"Paul, sweetheart. It's morning."

"Huh? Oh." mumbled Paul, sitting up. He stretched and got up, bright blue boxers glowing. "Oh, sorry.  I didn't bring any sweats."

"It's okay. At least they don't quack." grinned Tommy.

After showering and pouring Paul back into his jeans, the two of them headed to breakfast. Tommy was now allowed to leave his room more often. He asked Paul if he was coming to therapy. "No, I'm going home and change. I can't breathe!"

"Please come with me." "I want you there." begged Tommy.

"Alright, I'm still changing though. I'll be back."

At 2, Paul still wasn't there so Tommy started to call him. "Paulie, are you on the way?"

"Sorry, baby. My phone died." said Paul coming in.

They walked to therapy, hand in hand. Tommy still was ashamed to tell Paul he had asked the therapist out to dinner.

When they entered her office, Tommy got nervous. "Paul, I...um...I changed my mind." "I suddenly feel sick."

"Tom, you have a crush on her. I got it." "Finish your session and we'll get ready to check you out to go home."

Tommy made it through and bolted out the door afterwards.

He stayed silent thinking his crush was betrayal. It hurt him to think he was cheating or being unfaithful.
