Talking Over Lunch

  In the cafe around the corner, Jaime had ordered for the two of them. He poured out his soul over lunch before giving Tommy a chance to speak. "If you hate me I understand. I still love you. Forever."

Taking time to form his thoughts, Tommy slowly poured them out to Jaime. "I don't  hate you. I can't. Yes, you broke my heart. If you're lonely why don't you come on tour with us?"

"Come with you? I can't. First of all I'm jealous. Second of all...I can't."

Tommy looked at Jaime in confusion. "Jealous?"

"Yeah. Your lead singer looks at you way too much and too hard." "Does he stare at you in the hotel room too? When you change? When you're getting dressed?"

"I--I--don't k-k-know! Why w-w-would he? P-Paul's not interested in me like that." stammered out Tommy. 

"Oh, but he is. You apparently can't see that. Everyone else can."

Not knowing what else to say, Tommy remained silent. He now wanted to ask Paul if that was true. "Look, baby, if  it will ease your mind, I'll stand on the other side. "

"No. I want you to stop sharing a hotel room with him." 

"Um...Jaime...Gene and Eric share a room because they ..um...you know...get it on. I kinda don't have a choice."

"Well then, I suggest you find another room arrangement. I can talk to the three of them."

"No, I'll take care of it." sighed Tommy as he stood up. "Rehearsal awaits." he lied.

"Uh huh. Sure it does." replied Jaime as he walked out. 

Tommy walked back to the hotel only to find Paul yelling at Gene and Eric. "Do I wanna know?"

" YOU TWO DID WHAT!!! GROSS!!! I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN!!!" 

"Look, the elevator got stuck so we took advantage of it." said Eric, still getting dressed. He had purple marks all over his upper body and one on his shoulder. Gene had just found his shirt and shoes.

"Y-y-you had...s-s-sex in the elevator?"

The hotel manager came out with Doc McGhee -both of them wearing pissed off expressions. "You four have thirty minutes to get on the bus." 

"OOOH!!! COME ON GENE! WE CAN GET THE BEDROOM!!!" squealed Eric as he ran back to grab his suitcases. Gene followed as Paul stormed to the 10th floor. Poor Tommy just shook his head and went last.
