Tommy woke up late the next day to find a dozen roses and expensive chocolate on the nightstand. He looked at them in confusion and sat up. "Paul?"
"Paul flew back last night. He left those for you as an apology." said Pat from the doorway. "Do you want me to help you pack for Moscow or are we heading to Krakow?"
"I wanna go back to Ireland. I-I-I don't know how I feel right now." "I love him and all but I don't know if I can handle all the emotions running through me right now." "I want to run to him but at the same time I want to do the same thing to him." "I know he didn't cheat on me...this time." "I don't want to be unfaithful but...." he trailed off.
Pat sat beside Tommy and stroked his hair. "Before we decide, you need to tame that hair and shower." "Do you want to go to Cannon Beach instead?"
"Not right now." "I just want to have some alone time."
Pat backed off but wouldn't let him go off alone. He knew Tommy needed to go back to the hospital for more therapy. He had seen the signs before and knew Tommy wasn't emotionally stable and was walking into disaster the longer he and Paul weren't together.
