Finally Breaking Down Part 2

Tommy sat back down and faced Paul. "I DON'T LOSE MY TEMPER OFTEN, BUT I'M TIRED OF BEING KEPT IN THE DARK! EITHER YOU TELL ME WHAT'S ON YOUR MIND OR I GET OFF AT THE NEXT STOP AND QUIT!!!"

"Calm down please." 

"NO! FIRST JAIME AND NOW YOU!"

Gene motioned for Paul to change places. "Tom, calm down and talk to me." "I don't know what happened with Jaime but I do know that Paul doesn't want to interfere with your relationship. That's why he stayed quiet."

"JAIME GOT LONELY SO HE WENT AND GOT ENGAGED!"

The bus grew quiet. Even Eric bit back a comment.

"I'm sorry." said Gene. "I truly am." "Please don't quit."

"Yeah, please don't." echoed the others.

"I'll think about it."

After finding a bag of chips to eat, Tommy felt a bit better. He apologized to the others before growing silent again.

"Tom, could I  sit back down?" asked Paul later. "I should talk to you."

"Yes."

Paul and Tommy had a long talk while Gene raided the chocolate stash and Eric ate his way through two family size bags of Doritos. 

"STOP IN TEN MINUTES!" called the bus driver.

"Do you want to grab more Doritos?" asked Eric as he swallowed the last handful.

"We need more choc---Never mind!" said Gene as he felt it coming back up. "Gross!"

At the stop, Paul got up to get coffee and pizza along with snacks. Tommy left his blanket and followed. "I'm starving."

"I am too." chirped Eric. "OOOH!! DILL PICKLE CHIPS AND MARSHMALLOWS! CHOCOLATE PIE WITH WHIPPED CREAM AND FUNYONS!"

"Gross!" mumbled Gene. "I swear!" 

Paul paid for his pizza and coffee as well as his huge bag of snacks. Tommy had two small bags and a sandwich as well as bottled water. "If I ate all that.....yuck."

"Gene! Peanut butter and mayonnaise flavored cookies!" called Eric.

"Hell no!" cried all three together.

Back on the bus, Eric tried to give the cookies away after eating one. "Yuck!"

Tommy ate and drank his water before putting his snacks up. "Paul, I'm sorry for yelling earlier. Forgive me?"

"Of course. I can't stay mad at you." 

They went to squeeze hands just as Gene ran to the bathroom to puke up chocolate, ketchup flavored peanut M&M's and caramel coffee. "MOVE!" yelled Eric as he threw up the cookies and strawberry syrup flavored potato chips.

"Yuck!" cried Paul as he heard the gagging. "Serves them right."

Doc McGhee rolled his eyes as the bus pulled out.

By ten everyone was asleep again.

Tommy had laid his head in Paul's lap and Gene was finally asleep with Eric on his lap.
