" Okay. Since you are all speechless now, let me ask you something else. What did you know about me as the so-called Lawyer Victoria Helson? Or what do you think about me as the Lawyer? I want honest answers." Victoria asked in a neutral tone.

The three of them didn't know what to say at first. But then, Meg, a woman in her 20s and one of the well-known lawyers among her group spoke up.

" I-I personally think that you are a great person. I admire you. I wanted to become a lawyer because I sincerely wanted to be able to help others. However, I am stuck here because I am a coward. Whenever a situation arises that is dangerous to me, I got frozen. When I finally react, it will be too late. However, then I come to know you. When I heard about your victories and bravery, I was simply in awe. To tell you honestly, the sole reason that I applied here was because I wanted to learn under you and become stronger, braver and courageous enough to save somebody in help. To save someone that I can. I am actually not that good as my portfolio suggests. I failed a lot and learned from it but I am not proud of it cuz my failures have cost me a lot. That's all I have to say."

Meg was the most capable one among them. But she was nothing if she wanted to be that strong as she spoke. However, if she was willing, Victoria would be more than happy to teach her. After all, she alone couldn't do much.

" Okay. Now, Mr Eren, you are also well known among your group. You also have a few years of experience. I would like to ask you, what would you do if your closest buddy or maybe your brother is involved in something like that? The reason doesn't matter because neither will law nor I will look behind his story for doing that."

Hearing Victoria's question, all the others including Hailey and Jan were shocked. Eren, who was asked the question was shocked. He didn't know how to reply and he couldn't imagine it. He looked up to his brother so he couldn't imagine it.

" That's... That's something... " Before he could speak any further, Victoria spoke.

" Now, there are many real-life examples if you need. Just answer me what would you do? Don't think of any bullshit. I know everyone thinks that I hate men but I only don't trust them easily. That's all! Since you applied here, you must have been prepared for this I suppose."

Eren was speechless for a long time. there was deadly silence in the hall. Everyone held their breaths as they waited for his answer. Victoria silently stared at him with no expression.

Finally, he spoke.

" Today, I won't lie cuz I know it would be useless. It would just haunt me back. Honestly, It's really hard imagining that but... But if such a situation arises, I will confront my brother. If it's excusable, I will forgive him but only personally. He would still have to go to Jail. After all, it's no small matter. I would stand by my principles."

Victoria didn't say anything. After some time, she asked the other person.

" Okay. Now your turn. I know you just passed and that you are the least experienced amongst us. However, since your grades were good, you were recruited. I have a question for you that most of the newcomers lost to. It is important to me cuz that is the question I have to credit for coming this far.

What would you do if your occupation endangers your family or your beloved people?!"

This was actually the one and only question Victoria couldn't define the right answer to. Her answer was to leave them. What would be an innocent newcomers answer would be. She wanted to know.

That girl was called Alexa. She looked like the scholar's type. She was always silent and not outgoing. When asked such a question, she was silent.

" Sorry, but I don't know the answer to that. Of course, I would do anything and everything I could to protect my family. However, no matter what I do, someone may still hurt them. I have asked this question to myself many times and no right answers come up. One day, I thought it would all be alright if I separated from them but then I realized how naive I was being. From then on, I knew one thing as clear as the day. No matter what, if your solution is to leave them, then it's absolutely wrong. A family would rather prefer to be in danger than to stay away from you. And how long would you stay away from them? Didn't we always hear the proverb? The lost bird will reach its home one day. That's all I have to say."
