Chapter 136: Dedicated To Our Child.

Oscar was dumbfounded and his mind went totally blank. He froze as he was and even forget to breathe for a moment. He couldn't hear anything else. 

Victoria calmed down a little after telling him. After wiping her tears, she looked up at him and was a little startled to see him frozen. Then she chuckled helplessly and called out to him.

" Oscar~ " She waved her hand in front of him so as to bring him back to his senses.

Oscar was still so shocked that he couldn't talk properly. He wasn't able to digest such big news. 

" W-what... Is-is it true?!" 

" Yes! I am 80 per cent sure I am pregnant! I-I just have this feeling that... That I have a little life inside me. I can feel it!"

Hearing her, Oscar's eyes reddened as he smiled. If this is true, then this is the best news he ever got. If Victoria was a blessing, then their child would be the gift of god. He is truly thankful for everything he has. He can't be any more glad than this to have this all in his life.

He might as well be the luckiest man in the world. After all, who gets to be loved by their beloved ones? Very few do. And who gets to have such a beautiful relationship as he does? He has everything anyone could ever ask for. A loving parents and a loving wife. With her, he felt like he could live through eternity.

As soon as Oscar digested this amazing news, he quickly hugged her tightly. Then he mumbled emotionally with tears forming in his eyes.

" Thank you! Thank you so much, Victoria! For being in my life. "

Oscar was hugging a bit tightly. Victoria smiled and hugged him back. After a moment, as she calmed her emotions, she smiled and said.

" Oscar, you're hugging me too tightly. Be careful, you might hurt our child."

Hearing that, Oscar froze and instantly left her. He stood far away from her. His expression startled. Victoria couldn't control her laughter seeing him like that. He was literally keeping a one-hand distance from her. 

" I was just joking. That ain't enough to hurt our child. Let's go. I think these two days of vacation will have to be dedicated to our child."

" Wait! Lets-Lets go to the hospital first. Just to make sure everything is okay!" Oscar was still unable to believe it but he had to think for the best of his family.

" Yeah, I wanted to say that too."

Then they walked out of their house Oscar made sure to cover Victoria warmly. Then he drove their safest car to the best hospital in the capital. 

They didn't talk in the car because they were both still trying to digest the news. They couldn't believe that they were going to be parents. And even though they were sure that she was pregnant, unless and until they got the doctor's confirmation, they were feeling scared.

Oscar has never driven so nervously all his life as he did now. Suddenly knowing that he has two lives in his hand, he drove extremely carefully and felt so pressurised like never before. Even the hardest deals in business could not make him sweat but while driving in a cool atmosphere, his back was sweating.

It felt forever when they finally arrived at the hospital. Oscar quickly got out and opened the door for her. He held her hands as he helped her get out. Both of them can feel each other's nervousness.

Before entering the hospital, both of their steps halted. They hesitated because of fear but they had to go ahead.
