Chapter 130: We Part Soon

The next day, Victoria woke up early in the morning. She had warm hands around her and felt so loved. Her eyes trailed to Oscar's face as she gazed at him deeply. 

She pecked him lightly on the cheek. Then she wanted to get up but she was afraid he would be disturbed so after thinking for a while, she suddenly smiled childishly. 

She slowly slipped out of his arms and seeing his eyebrows frowning, she quickly put the pillow in his hands. He embraced her but still seemed to be frowning so Victoria pecked him on the eyebrows and smiled before getting up. She tried her best to not be noisy as she bathed and all.

 Then she went to the kitchen to make something for breakfast. She looked around and decided to make french toast and an avocado shake. Then she also took out some dry fruits and put them there before walking back to their room.

It has been almost more than half an hour and Oscar was still sleeping. Usually, he gets up early and prepared everything for her. He always tried to make her sleep more. Even if she woke up, he would find different excuses and ways to not let her work.

Soon, it would be their office time and they are both the bosses and shouldn't be late so she had no choice but to wake him up. She strode forward and slowly pulled away the white mattress on the bed. After that, she took away the pillow in his arms and then she approached him and kissed him on his forehead. 

" Oscar." She called out softly. But her sweet voice seemed to relax him as he looked more peaceful. Victoria smiled helplessly and pecked his lips. Then she softly whispered in his ears.

" My love, it's time to wake up."

Oscar's eyes gently fluttered hearing her charming voice. There was still the lingering warmth of her lips on his lips. She smiled sweetly and pulled away his bangs on the forehead. 

Oscar pulled her up on the bed and embraced her. He gave her a long peck on the forehead before greeting her in a hoarse voice.

" Good Morning~ When did you wake up?"

" Half an hour ago."

" Why didn't you wake me up?"

" I didn't want to." Oscar felt helpless. He smiled and finally sat up on the bed.

" I'll quickly wash up. We'll grab breakfast from a cafe."

" Don't worry I already prepared breakfast. Take your time. Don't rush to take the bath."

" Oh... Okay." Then giving her a loving kiss, Oscar went to take a bath. 

He always seems to be in a hurry to bathe and Victoria felt really helpless about it. She just wanted him to relax sometimes but he always rushes these things. When she was frustrated about it, she asked him why is he so rushed and the answer he gave left her speechless. 

He said " We part soon after we woke up because of the office so I just wanted to have more time with you before going to work. I really hate it when I have to spend half of the day apart from you." 

He said it with such loving eyes and she was enchanted by it and forgot to reprimand him. He really has his way with her. She can never bear to get angry with him. The only time she was cold to him was before they came together. Other than that, she never got angry or upset with him. Because it hurts her more when she gets upset with him.

Oscar was done in 15 minutes which was still a long time for him. She came out all dressed with his blazer in his hands. He hung it on the couch and went to the dining table.

Victoria sat down with him. The breakfast was already ready on the table. Victoria passed the shake to him. Then they began to eat. 

Later Oscar dropped her off at her office. At lunchtime, Victoria was quite free and didn't have any urgent work so she went to Oscar's office without informing him. She had wanted to visit his office for quite some time.

After the recent accident, Victoria was very careful about her safety as she didn't want to hurt her beloved people any longer. Moreover, she had been attacked so many times that she was quite used to it. The only advantage of that is that she knew which situation she needs to be extra careful in.
