Victoria's hands trembled but she shook her head and did her best to open the cage. As the door opened, the victim come out as if she entered heaven. Before she could thank Victoria, Victoria spoke in an extremely hoarse voice. Moving her mouth alone took her everything. She was barely hanging in there.

" O-Open other c-c-cages. Help the un-uncon-Unconcious o-ones." It took her a lot of time and effort to say that. Just saying that makes her pant heavily. Sweat and blood continued to flow down her continuously.

The woman who just got out felt that Victoria needed help more than anyone but when she saw how badly Victoria wanted to free everyone, She thought she should respect her wishes. She was also shocked by how selfless Victoria was.

For a moment when she was freed, she just wanted to just fly away without caring about anything. But when she saw Victoria, and when she thought about what she and the others went through, she really wanted to help them. Cause if she was abandoned like that, she would really lose the will to live in this cruel world.

She was also injured and tired but it was nothing compared to Victoria so she didn't complain and quickly helped to open other cages. She was a lot faster than Victoria. First, they opened up the cages for the ones who were awake so that the conscious ones could help those who are unconscious.

Victoria went to the one in the worst condition. The policewoman who that man insulted so badly. She was angry that she didn't come here a bit earlier. With difficulties somehow she managed to open it. There were only 7 women including Rosie and her. So she only opened two. Three women were conscious other than her.

Victoria managed to open the cage. She went inside and bent down to that woman. Seeing her condition, tears flooded out of her eyes. Victoria held that woman's hands and prayed silently.

" Please... Please give her the courage to live again!"

Victoria was not at all in condition to take her out. So she got out and went towards the place where his stuff seemed to be. She thought she would not find any phone as usually such people don't let any way out. But looks like he was too overconfident. There was no phone but when she looked around, she saw the victim's stuff and surely some must have had their phones.

In the stuff that was piled in a corner like trash, she saw a phone and picked it up. She switched it on and waited. When it opened, she was shocked. God must've been helping her because the phone she picked up was the policewomen. There was her picture on the wallpaper with another policeman in their uniform. She was really lucky as there was no password or maybe that man had removed it.

She quickly opened the contacts and was going to call the police but then her eyes stopped on the call log. 50 missed calls from the Chief. Chief was one of the biggest positions. Victoria thought it was better to call him than to call the police.

Meanwhile, Levi was on his way to Oscar when he received a call from the intelligence department.

" Hello?"

" Chi-Chief! We-we received we receive-ved "

" Calm down and say it clearly." Levi felt that they had important information so he said.

" Sir, we tracked down the location of Leutinenet Alice!"

Levi came to an instant halt. A tremor went through his body and the phone almost fell down. He was frozen. Just as he was frozen there with his subordinates calling him confusedly, he received another call and it said.

" Lieutenant Alice... "

Levi's hands trembled as he had a hard time holding onto the phone. It took him 5 seconds to pick up the phone. He couldn't waste any longer time. She must be calling in such a grave situation how could he put her in more danger. They would find the location and save everyone. He still remembered her words when they last had dinner together.

" Alice, I am serious! Don't be impulsive or else I will get you out of the team!"

" Hahaha! Levi, how can you be so scared as the chief?!"

" Shut up! Do you know what could happen if you get captured?!"

Alice was silent for a moment and she laughed it off as she said.

" What could happen? If I really get caught, then I will just play spy for you and try to signal my location."

" Do You Think It's That Easy?! You will die before that! Damn it just don't do that again!!"

Alice looked down at her cup and stared at it as she said.

" Don't be scared. I'll come back. Either after hosting the flag or wrapped in it." She smiled.

Those words make him want to die now. It has been more than 15 days since they lost her. He felt ashamed for not being able to protect his loved one. His comrade.

" H-Hello? Alice?!" His voice trembled as he called out desperately to hear his voice.

" Is this police?!" Levi heard a very hoarse voice that was so low that it could barely be heard.

" Is that you Alice?! What happened to your voice?! Where are you?!"

" I Cough... I am n-not Alice. Please come to rescue us. We cough... we are in s-some woods i-in outskirt in a basement. T-There are 7 v-victims. Fo-four conscious, three un-unconscious. All injured."

Victoria hung up as she couldn't talk anymore.

" Cough cough cough cough... "

She fell down as she literary had no energy. She was in so much pain that tears slipped out of her eyes but that pain was just not letting her faint. All she wanted now was for the pain to go away. She didn't care even if she dies as she had at least called for help. She was sure Teddy won't wake up for at least 2-3 hours. That was more than enough for help to arrive. Moreover, she was sure the police were already at work. Either way, no one would be harmed anymore.

She was thankful to god and she dare not wish for more because this was already more than enough. Whether she survives or not, now she can die peacefully. She was glad she didn't give up until the very end.

Victoria lay with her back resting on the wall. She was unrecognisable. She almost felt like a parallelised person if not for the pain constantly making her realise that she wasn't. Her body was numb. The pain was so extreme that she couldn't concentrate on what was going on. Her eyes were open but she couldn't observe what was going on.

Victoria blinked to get a clear vision and saw those women helping Alice out. She smiled. Tears fell from her eyes as she really missed her family.

" I miss you, Mamma." No matter how grown-up we are, when we are broken and crying, the word mother always comes out of our mouths first.

Just then she vaguely heard someone screaming her name.
