They heated the dishes in the microwave and eat their breakfast. It was delicious and they enjoyed their hard work. Oscar felt glad seeing her eat properly. Victoria talked a lot and about brainy topics so that Oscar would not think about anything foolish like how he wasn't there for her.
After they were done eating, it was 1 pm. They cleaned the dishes together. They had servants but they both occasionally cleaned a little themselves if they had time. They wanted to have a habit of cleaning as that's a good thing. No matter how rich you are, even if you are the princess of a great country, you should still do things yourself.
After they were done, they sat down in the living room on the sofa snuggled in each other's arms. Victoria played with the buttons on his shirt as Oscar just gazed at her deeply. They both felt content with this simplicity in life. After achieving all this honour and wealth, they both realised that in life, all they actually wanted was this.
They wanted a meaningful life. They wanted someone to spend that meaningful life with. That concluded everything they wanted from their lives. For Victoria, her job was what made her life meaningful. For Oscar, protecting her and loving her was what made his life meaningful. They both find their paths in each other.
" I have a gift for you."
" Hmm?" Victoria was surprised. She pulled apart from him and looked at him.
" I didn't give you our wedding gift yet. Did you think that I forget about it? I have been preparing it from the moment I started loving you. It's just it wasn't prepared before and now it's the best time to present it. We both have everything this world could offer and I am grateful to god for that. But this is one thing that you desired greatly and I am happy that I am able to gift it to you."
The way Oscar spoke was very serious. Victoria felt that whatever he gifted her would be a very meaningful and dear gift to her. Victoria thought a lot about what to give him. So much that her headaches but she still couldn't figure out what to give him. He would be happy with whatever she gave him but she wanted to give him something meaningful. He desired nothing. He was gifted with everything like her. He had only desired her and she was his so after a lot of deliberation, she finally reached a conclusion.
Victoria prepared a handmade pendant for him. It was manly and actually was a photo pendant. It was purely made of white gold. In the middle, there was a somewhat classic mirror design and Victoria put a very beautiful oval-shaped texture diamond in that. It was very beautiful and Victoria worked really hard on it.
She went to a master goldsmith and did every step very carefully as she didn't have much time. With a lot of cautiousness and the help and guidance of the master, she made it. She didn't really learn how to make jewellery. All she did was follow the steps of her master as he watched over her process. Still, she ended up messing up a lot but the master goldsmith helped her a lot otherwise she would never be able to make it so fast.
And finally, it was ready. She got it on her wedding day but wanted to present it when it's only them and without a hurry so she didn't gift it at that time. Now was the right time but Oscar also prepared a gift for her. She decided to wait until he gave his before giving hers. Her pendant looked something like a book made of white gold with a diamond and all. It was a very beautiful and meaningful gift. She didn't put any pictures in it though.

When she heard Oscar say that his gift was something he had been preparing since he started loving her, she wondered what it was. She was very curious and anticipating it. She had a feeling that it would be a really special gift but like Oscar, she had everything since her childhood. So she wondered just what could it be.
" So... What is my gift? When are you giving it to me?"
" Let's go to our study room. It's in there."
" Okay!" Victoria was excited but didn't show it on her face. However, her fast actions betray her.
" Wait," Oscar called out as she was going to walk ahead.
" What's wrong? Ah... " Oscar picked her up in bridal style. Victoria quickly wrapped her arms around him as she didn't wanna get hurt.
" Why are you picking me up."
" I wish to take you there like this."
Victoria blushed and let him do as he wish then. Oscar gently took her all the way to their study room. It was his personal before but after renovating the house, he made it bigger for both of them. He put it together because even if they are busy, at least they would be working together.
