In a dungeon cold as Atlantic, Teddy was brought and locked up in a cage similar to the ones he used to lock the victims. His right leg was also chained.  For a whole week, fresh and delicious food was put right in front of him but he was unable to eat because he couldn't reach it. Tough it was inside the cage, his chained feet stopped him whenever he tried to get it.

He was tired enough to sleep for 48 hours but they didn't let him get an ounce of sleep. He was splashed with water that can freeze the blood the moment he blinked. They didn't do anything other than that in the first week.

However, it was already enough for him to want to die. Being deprived of food and sleep, he barely remained human. He thought it was already too much to bear but he didn't know... He didn't know that it was the beginning of the nightmare of his life. A nightmare that would never end and will take everything away with it.

Finally, after that first week, he heard some footsteps. Footsteps that crept fear into his bones.

A haggard skinny man entered his cage with a lot of people following him. He had slightly long hair and a moustache with a beard. He was in quite a poor condition but what was amazing was that he still managed to look handsome and intimidating. Or rather his aura was very intimidating that a serial killer like Teddy felt intimidated by him.

Teddy didn't know who Oscar was but seeing the way others followed him was enough to confirm that he was the boss. As for why he abducted her and how he was able to from the hands of law was still a mystery for him. But some unknown fear crept into his heart the moment Oscar's hair moved and he looked into his eyes.

After a long time, Oscar moved his feet. Slowly he took steps forward. His subordinates stood sternly at their place. Oscar looked at Teddy with an inexplicable face. Then he looked back at his people.

Oscar's right-hand man quickly came forward with one other subordinate. They suddenly held him on his knees with his back facing Oscar. Teddy was unable to move because he didn't have any energy. As he didn't know what was going on, Oscar approached him.

He glared at his back for a while before suddenly swinging his knee hard on Teddy's right shoulder. And that was it. Instantly Teddy's shoulder dislocated so badly that he got the energy to scream.

" AHHHHHHHH... " His endless screams started but it was just the start for Oscar.

Then Oscar didn't look at his face again and left expressionlessly. Teddy screamed for a long time because of the pain. In the end, he fainted but then again he was awakened by the cold water. Of course, he would die without eating and with his fever but the doctor of the dungeon was instructed to inject just enough nutrition to keep him alive and reduced his fever. The fever didn't make anyone have mercy on him.

The next week, Oscar came again. As Teddy looked at him lifelessly, Oscar put his hand forward to his assistant and the assistant quickly handed him something. When Teddy saw what it was, he got cold sweats.

Oscar was holding a Wrench. The same size he used. And then, Oscar started. First, he hit Teddy's hips which broke his bone, then he hit his waist, then his shoulder which was already dislocated and lastly his head. He fainted instantly but Oscar made him wake then. Then he slowly hung him by his hands which put pressure on his shoulder. All his wounds hurt more as he was hanged especially his shoulder. He was screaming like he was in hell and thought that it was already too much for that day but Oscar then picked up a screwdriver and stabbed him in the waist. Then he got a sharp piece of wood from god knows where and stabbed him in the waist again.

And finally, without uttering a single word, he turned around and went back. At first, Teddy didn't know who Oscar was or why he was doing this but after this, he realized very well why Oscar was here. He was probably here to avenge that bitch who was the cause of his misfortune. He wished for her to die. He was so maniac that he smiled while feeling the pain because he was thinking that she must have felt the same pain as he was doing right now. But somewhere deep inside, he was subconsciously shocked and impressed by the fact that Victoria endured that pain and even moved in it. She didn't even scream.

Oscar came back to the hospital after cleaning up. Today he was going to enter the ward and finally meet Victoria. He still had to wear the scrubs but at least he could glance at her from close up. He changed into clean pants and shirt and even shaved and cut his hair.

On the way, Oscar met with Levi. Levi wasn't in any better situation either. Oscar could empathise with him. When Levi entered the elevator, he saw Oscar. He was stunned but then he greeted him. Oscar just nodded.

Levi didn't say anything and just entered the lift. They both forget to click on their floor buttons so the lift didn't move. After a while, they both came out of their deep thought and pressed the buttons. As life finally started moving, Oscar spoke.

" Contact my assistant if you want to avenge her." The doors opened and Oscar left while leaving behind these words. Levi was shocked and reacted after a long time. He didn't go there instantly because he needed to be by Alice's side.

However, after a long time, he went there. Of course, no matter what condition Teddy was in, he didn't take any pity or mercy on him.

Once a naive person asked about the serial killers. They heard that such maniac psycho killers are of course not born psycho but instead they experienced something that turned them into what they were. What they experienced couldn't possibly be anything better.

So the naive person asked if it justifies them in the slightest. That person took pity on such a people. However, then someone answered.

" No. Not in the slightest. A person who had experienced something similar should have never done something like this. More than anyone else, this one person shouldn't have done the same thing which turned him into a monster. But he did. He did the same thing that he thought he didn't deserve to happen to him or the people around him. Before he would be pitied and consoled for what happened but now he will only be despised in the same way he used to despise others. Such monsters are the biggest failure of humanity."

Hearing this answer, the naive person finally realized how stupid they were being. After hearing that, no matter what cruel the tragedy or story behind that killer was, they have never shaken ever again. If every person who went through something tragic turned out like that, then barely any humans will remain on this planet.

Slowly and excruciatingly the days passed and passed. All the victims got discharged including Rosie and Alice. Alice was also in a better situation. But Levi still needed to be very alert around her. She badly needed therapy and all. But she survived but Victoria... She was still lying in the same hospital bed.

Sleeping with peace and no intentions to enter this complicated world again. Mike and Wick seemed to start their normal life again but when one looked closer, they could see that they are forcing themselves with everything they had to look like they are living a normal life.

Sia and Oscar always stayed in the hospital. Oscar never went back to his work. He left everything aside and stayed by her side. Victoria's family accepted him and treated him like a son.

They never questioned him who he was, why he was there, what his relationship with Victoria was or anything at all. They didn't need to. Moreover, Oscar seemed to lose his ability to observe what he saw, hear what he listened and talk. Rarely did he ever see anything other than Victoria. He couldn't hear what he heard. He couldn't talk to anyone other than Oscar.

Sia pretended to be strong. She looked after Mike and Wick who seemed to be living but were dead. Only she remained with hope. However, deep inside she was killing herself. Sometimes she fainted and become so skinny and haggard. It felt like she aged over a decade.
