Chapter 87: Pre-Wedding 9.

That day passed with touring and all. For Alice and Levi, it was a lot more special as they registered their marriage. Alice truly got better. So they had a really great time and celebrated their marriage within themselves.

Meanwhile, for others, it just passed by with all the fun. After dinner, everyone went to sleep. After all, they were quite exhausted. 

And then, the next day came. It finally started. The haste of a wedding house. Everyone was noisy and rushed. Alice talked with Levi early in the morning and she told him to go to Oscar. He needed her and she would also be with Victoria so regardless they wouldn't spend much time together. 

At first, Levi didn't want to let her go but he also wanted to be a good friend. He also trusted and believed in Victoria. She was a good person and Alice would be okay in her company.

Albeit a little unwilling, they parted ways with a beautiful kiss. It would be hard to meet before the wedding as they are on the opposite sides

After breakfast, Victoria was sent to get ready. She was dressed in one off-shoulder knee-length dress. She was beautiful as always. Her long hair enhanced her beauty to a different level. 

If she looked cool and strong in her previous bob cut, then she looked gorgeous and intimidating in her long hair. Women are meant to have long hair. Long hair is the gift of god to them.

She went to the ballroom at 10 in the morning. It wasn't any special function but you can say that every day before the wedding would be a function for them.  They would celebrate and prepare in the coming week.

Mike was really helpful as he helped in receiving the guest who arrived according to their schedules. They were all big shots and not everyone can make it before a week.

Alice and Hailey stayed with her. They walked with her inside the ball. Everyone was decently dressed and seemingly enjoying themselves. There was a huge stage in the middle. There were all types of musical instruments. There were also some unrecognisable things. 

If they needed something, they could just ask for the hotel staff to bring it to them. And that's how it started. 

Both of the parties already invited amazing international entertainers to perform for the audience but the performance that the families wanted to do was being prepared here. If they wanted to do something without Victoria knowing, they would go to another room or something. 

Victoria noticed because her brother occasionally disappeared along with some of his friends and distant cousins. Christopher also seems to be with him. She was excited for the day to come. 

While everyone was busy with these things and there was this haste in the air, Victoria took her own time to do the most important thing. 

And just like that, this day also passed. When the night come, Victoria lay in her bed and talked to Oscar. They discussed what happened and all but of course hid the surprises. Just as she was in the middle of talking, the bell rings.

Victoria wondered who could it be because usually everyone slept at this time. As she opened the door, she saw Mike and Christopher. She wanted to ask what happened but Mike dragged her to the hall on that floor. It was big. 

She was getting angry at Mike and was going to shout when she was dumbfounded seeing what was in front of her. In the hall, Alice, Rosie, Sue, Hailey, Jan, Meg, Alexa, Eren and some more of the close friends and cousins were there. 

She looked back at Mike and Christopher in shock as if asking what going on. They just shrugged with a playful smile. Victoria also noticed that everyone was in a night dress. Looks like they dragged everyone here like that. 

There was a special seat designated for the bride. She was sitting there. And then they had the first bachelor's night. But it didn't end there. 

The next day comes. Like usual everyone was busy with preparations. The youngsters were busy preparing for the show and all while the elders were all busy decorating the gifts. Her mother Sia took a group of young and elder ladies and went out to buy whatever more she needed. Half of that big hall was filled with gifts. 

It was also their custom. Both the bride's side and groom's side will prepare and decorate their gifts and grandly present them before the wedding day. It was also kind of a function only. 

Most importantly, the bride's side would get to choose what the groom would wear for all the functions while the groom's side got to decide what the bride would wear in all the functions. 

No one was dissatisfied with that because no one would choose something the other wouldn't like. Moreover, the bride and groom knew each other well enough and would choose the best for each other. 

Victoria personally brought the main dresses for Oscar. That included from dress to shoes and even brooch. Nothing was left out. It was just the way of their custom. 

It would be hard to decorate and arrange other gifts which were present and that's why all the elders were busy with that. Mainly ladies because they liked decorating things. 

The elderly man helped with what they could but usually, they were always talking about this business or that. Everyone came with their own set of gifts which were overwhelming but were reserved for the wedding day.

Victoria was also very happy to wear what Oscar choose for her. The function where they would present the gifts to the other side was right at 10 am before the wedding day. That would be on the coming Sunday. Both the bride's and Grooms dresses were custom made but still, if any problem arises, they would have the remaining day to solve it.
