Chapter 91: Pre-Wedding 13.

" Oscar, can I hug you?"

Oscar was stunned but then he smiled and opened his arms. Victoria walked right into his arms and hugged him tightly. He also returned the hug and patted her head. He kissed her over the hair and said.

" I missed you a lot."

" Me too."

" I am only willing to do this because it's once in a lifetime. I can't do this again and again."

" Me too."

" I won't let you go from now on."

" Yeah."

" You can't escape from me anymore."

" Yeah."

" You can't run away from me."

" Yeah."

" I love you."

Oscar kept saying and Victoria kept listening. When he said I love you, Victoria kissed him. They kept going for a long time.

Later, they sat down and waited for Alice and Levi.

" Tell me honestly, have you been eating properly?" Oscar asked her seriously.

" Yeah. I don't eat a lot but I eat enough to stay healthy. Don't worry!"

" I knew it. You don't eat a lot. What's the use of staying just healthy? You have to be stronger. You need to eat more."

Oscar sighed and calmed down.

" It's okay. I'll be there after a few days and I'll take care of it."

Just then, Levi and Alice walked in. They sat down opposite them. Victoria asked Alice.

" Let's order. You did not eat much so have something. We have a lot to do and can afford to fall sick." Victoria told her.

" Look who's talking. You barely eat a single bread Victoria. I was going to say the same to you. You are the bride and you can't fall sick at your wedding."

As soon as Oscar heard her, his face instantly turned to Victoria with a gaze saying you lied to me.

Victoria bit her lips and looked at him. He was a little hurt because he couldn't compromise when it comes to her health. Maybe because it left a trauma on him.

" Waiter!" Oscar looked away and called the waiter. He took the menu and spewed out a lot of dishes within seconds. Victoria felt helpless and couldn't do much. Oscar then passed the menu to Levi who also ordered several dishes for Alice.

Both of them have been very sensitive about their partner's health because of that incident. Victoria and Alice's health took a bad blow after that. So it left an everlasting trauma to them.

Victoria and Alice looked at each other and smiled helplessly. They blew up each other's cover.

Oscar didn't talk much after that. Victoria knew he was upset with her. The dishes arrived rather quickly. They were healthy and a lot. There were pancakes, egg rolls, fruit juice, curd rice, bread with cheese, etc. It was a lot.

Oscar silently served a whole 15-centimetre-long pancake to Victoria. He was already upset so Victoria didn't dare oppose him. Levi also served food to Alice. They started their meal. Halfway through, Victoria noticed that Oscar barely touched his food. She sighed and put down her fork. Seeing that, Oscar looked up at her.

She used a new fork and knife and cut down half a pancake and put it on his plate. Then she put two pieces of egg rolls and some other things into his plate. Lastly, she filled his glass with mango juice.

" You have to eat it all. Or else you can't tell me to eat." Oscar stared at her for a while. Victoria went back to eating her food. She could barely eat more but she wanted to appease Oscar. He kept serving her something one after another.

Finally, Oscar looked back and finished all she served. After they were done, Oscar told Alice in front of everyone.

" Please keep me updated on her. If she doesn't eat like today or feels sick, tell me. I request you."

" O-Okay."

" Then we'll go ahead in the car. You guys take your time." Levi and Alice left.

Oscar still didn't look at her. Victoria stood up from her chair and stand in front of Oscar.

" Oscar." She called out. Oscar didn't look up.

" Oscar, look up at me!"

Oscar finally looked up. Still looking sad. Victoria sat on his lap and put her palm on his right cheek and said.

" I was wrong. I am sorry. I just didn't want to worry you. I tried to eat more but I couldn't. But when you are there, I can eat a little more... When we are married, you watch over me and take care of me. Okay? I will listen to you. Why are you so worried? Just stay with me for all my meals. Always watch me. And I promise I won't leave you. I will be careful to never hurt us. Okay?"

Oscar nodded. Victoria smiled and pecked him on the lips.

" Let's go then. They must be waiting."

" Wait a sec." Oscar suddenly picked her up and sat her down on the table. He stood up and stood between her legs.

" I have something to give you."

He took out a small rectangular jewellery bow. Inside was a beautiful necklace in snow shape. Oscar gently put it on her neck and then kissed her on the forehead.

" Don't take it out when you are not with me. Okay?" Victoria smiled.

" Okay."

Of course, she noticed the small hidden GPS in it. Oscar must have wanted to give this to her for a long time. Maybe he was afraid she wouldn't accept it.

Oscar gently put her down and they went back. They knew it was unlikely to meet again before their wedding but they had no option.
