Chapter 111: Wedding Invitation.

Oscar wanted to take a quick bath but if he is done too soon, Victoria won't be happy. So he somehow took 15 minutes to take a shower before rushing out to her. Then he went to the closet and saw Victoria's blazer. Then he changed into his suit pants and shirt before going out. Walking to the kitchen, he peeked inside instead of directly entering.

Seeing her working on something, he silently walked inside and hugged her from behind.

" Are you done?" He asked gently.

Victoria smiled as she turned slightly to look at him.

" No. I will be done soon. I told you to take your time. Why are you done bathing so soon? You took a shower instead, right?"

" Uhh... Well yes."

Hearing him Victoria sighed helplessly. Seeing that, Oscar smiled apologetically and told her.

" I feel better when I am with you rather than having a bath. Nothing relaxes me as much as just looking at you does. I feel happy as long as I am with you. I know you don't want me to work but I at least want to watch you as you work. And from tomorrow, we'll make breakfast together."

Victoria didn't say anything but just looked back at him for a few seconds. Then she averted her eyes and mumbled with a sweet pout.

" You say that but you always end up doing most of the work."

Oscar smiled dotingly and then helped her take out the dishes. After they were done eating the light breakfast, Victoria told him.

" We'll have lunch with our family. It's almost lunchtime so I didn't make much. Moreover, I didn't get enough time."

" Okay. Where are we going by the way?"

" We are going to your parent's house. My parents and Mike will come there. Your parents invited us there. And we'll have a homemade meal. Auntie was so considerate she took into consideration that we must be tired of eating outside so she personally prepared lunch for us with the cook."

Oscar smiled hearing that. They were going to give souvenirs to everyone. After lunch, they had plans to visit Victoria's office to give souvenirs and then they will meet Levi and Alice for dinner.

Asahi went back to Japan while Victoria called Christopher but he didn't pick up. However, when she met Mike, he told her that Christopher left for the states as soon as she left for her honeymoon. That stunned her as he didn't even inform her. She had complicated feelings when she thought about him. She really didn't want to lose such a great friend but she knew very well that it would be selfish of her to wish that.

Therefore, she didn't call him again and again. But she still felt bad. Oscar wanted to console her but couldn't do much about the situation while Victoria was trying her best to hide her feelings as it was also unfair to Oscar.

They brought a lot of things back and gifted them out to their families. Then they had lunch before going to Victoria's office. After coming out from there, they took a walk in a beautiful park before going to meet Levi and Alice. 

Seeing Alice, Victoria went ahead and hugged her. While Levi also hugged Oscar. Then they sat down.

" So what have you been up to all this time?" Victoria asked Alice with a smile.

" Well... I am actually going to go back to my work!" She replied happily. 

Victoria was surprised and then she genuinely smiled. 

"That's really great. Take care of yourself. And don't forget to ask for my help with anything. It would be my honour to help in saving lives."

" Yes, I know. Whenever I need you, I will call you unceremoniously."

"That's what I want. What about Levi? Did you also plan to go back to your job?"

" Well, he has already started working again," Alice replied for him.

" Oh really? Congratulations!"

" Thanks." 

" No need to congratulate him. He ain't happy going back I forced him. He was being grumpy about being busy after starting the work and wanted to be a lazy ass."

" Hahaha. Well, you will also miss these idle days once you start working."

" Yeah, but I will think about it when the time comes. By the way, we have something to tell you." Alice said as she looked at Levi before looking back.

As it feels something important, Victoria and Oscar paid attention and heard them.

Levi held her hand gently as he smiled and spoke to them.

" We are going to get married after two weeks. You both have to come. It's a destination wedding."

" Here, this is our Wedding Invitation." Alice passed it down to them.
