Chapter 100: Heaven On Earth.

" I know but... If you get hurt, I won't feel good."

" It's okay. I won't be hurt."

" Fine but if you do end up getting hurt, you are never assisting me in the kitchen again."

 Oscar than that stubbornness of a child as he said this. Victoria was honestly surprised because this was a new side of him and she was crazily loving him. He was just too adorable. She chuckled lightly and replied.

" Alright. It's a deal."

Saying that she started peeling the potatoes as Oscar boiled the peas and then started cutting capsicum. Victoria cut the potatoes after peeling them. She saw that Oscar was already done with capsicum and had started cutting french beans. He was fast with it. 

" I am done with potatoes. I'll start frying them as I cut eggplant."

" No, let me do that. Helping in chopping is enough."

" Oscar let me do that. We are cooking together and I appreciate your worry for me but don't forget that I am a strong person." She said to assure him.

" But... " Oscar was still worried when Victoria kissed him on the cheek and as planned that perfectly shut Oscar up. He blushed a little but quickly turned around to hide that.

She started frying the potatoes and it takes more time to fry. Therefore, when her potatoes were only halfway through, she was already done cutting eggplant. Oscar was almost done with the chopping thing. He started putting rice to cook in the rice cooker. 

Since they were done cutting and were waiting for the potatoes to fry up and rice to be cooked, Oscar hugged Victoria from behind as he rested his back on the counter. He snuggled his head in her neck and closed his eyes. 

Victoria also leaned back on him intimately and enjoyed his warmth. She also closed her eyes as she rested on him. That moment was so sweet and peaceful for them that it sent tingles down her heart. 

Oscar was feeling so content with the life that he wanted nothing more than to spend every single second of his life with her. 

" I love you." Oscar suddenly said in a low voice.

" I know." Victoria then turned around and held his face as she gave him a loving peck on the lips and said.

" You are my love too, Oscar." Then she smiled and let go to check on the fries. Oscar was stunned at first then a warm smile blossomed on his face. 

He felt like he was in heaven on earth. His life literally felt so satisfying that he wishes for nothing more.

The rice was cooked so he started for other things quickly as he didn't want to make Victoria wait. When his attention was on cooking, he suddenly heard Victoria exclaim.

" Ahh!"

Leaving everything at hand he instant;y turned around to see her. His eyes held extreme worry as he quickly checked her up. When he saw her holding her arm, he instantly held it in worry to look over.

" Where did you get hurt?! Did the oil splash on you?! Are you okay?!" He asked in one breath as his eyes searched for the burnt mark.

" ...Pfft!" Oscar was stunned. For a while 20 seconds, he didn't understand what was happening. What was that? He was totally dumbfounded.

" I...I was just joking!" Victoria said between laughter.

When he came back to his senses, Oscar felt helpless. This side of Victoria was not too familiar with him but it was her real self and he was just falling deeper and deeper in her love.

" Ahh!" Victoria exclaimed in surprise as he suddenly picked her up by the waist and put her on the counter. 

" So... You were just joking?" He pretended to be mad. However, it was clear he was also just messing around.

" Yes!" She was waiting to see what he would do but what he did was surprising and torturing. 

" Hahahaha! Hahahahahaha! Wai-Wait! Hahaha! Hahahahaha... " 

Oscar was tickling her and she really couldn't take it anymore. Seeing that Oscar finally stopped.

When they were almost done and only taking the dishes out and putting them on the dining table remained, Oscar unexpectedly cut his hand white cleaning up things. He himself was surprised because it was really rare for him to get hurt. He of course didn't let Victoria discover. 

However, Victoria's most attention was on him and when he suddenly hid his hand behind his back, she got suspicious but thought he was just hiding something from her for fun. Unfortunately, Oscar wasn't careful enough. 

He excused himself saying he was going to the washroom. She didn't find anything strange and let him go but when she came to the kitchen to take out the dishes, she saw a small drop of blood on the floor where Oscar was previously standing. And that totally shocked him. For once she can cut her hand while chopping but Oscar was quite good at this and wouldn't hurt his hand. But he ended up doing that and she was kinda disappointed to not see it before.

She ran to their bedroom and Oscar just entered the washroom. Before he could close the door she called out to him a little anxiously.

" Oscar!"
