Caroline was still worried. She looked at her husband worriedly. Andrew understood her concern and was also worried about Oscar. So he tried to test the waters.

" Then let your mother watch television or something. I wanted to discuss with you some matters relating to work. We can do that until Victoria's family arrives."

Then they both secretly analysed Oscar's reaction. Oscar looked at them silently. He didn't know how to reply. Finally, he made an excuse and said.

" I have something to do. But there are daily and annual reports in my study. You can read it Dad. We'll discuss it again sometime."

Caroline and Andrew were almost sure something was wrong after hearing him. They looked at each other worriedly and let it be for now.

" Okay then. Don't worry about us and do what you need to do. We'll watch tv until then."

" Yes. I'll be back soon." Oscar left without turning back. He went back to their bedroom and looked at Victoria. Then he breathed a sigh of relief and sat down by the bedside. After staring at her for a while, he pecked her on the forehead and whispered in a very weak voice.

" Please never leave me behind... " He had an inexplicable pain in his eyes as he said that. Then he stayed there gazing at her with love and care.

Soon after, Sia, Wick and Mike also arrived. They were all in a good mood with bright faces expecting to hear good news. After all, they couldn't think of anything else when Victoria called them. They were all secretly anticipating it.

Oscar opened the door. He greeted them politely. Mike saw him and hugged him as he smiled.

" Good morning Brother."

" Good morning. Come in."

They all went in. Only then did they realise a strange depressing atmosphere. They felt it for the second time after Victoria and Oscar get married. The first time was when Victoria had a car accident and the second time was now.

It was quite a serious matter when Victoria was in an accident and now feeling that same atmosphere, they were a little worried. Then they met Oscar's parents. After greeting each other, they felt more such feelings.

All of them began to feel an ominous feeling and started getting anxious. Sia worriedly asked.

" Where is Victoria?!"

" She is still sleeping, Aunty. She was sleepy so I asked her to sleep. I will wake her up now. Lunch is almost ready anyway."

" Okay." Sia smiled but it didn't reach her eyes. After Oscar left, Sia asked Caroline worriedly.

" Did something happen? Did Oscar tell you anything? Something seems wrong. We expected good news but could something have happened to Victoria again? Oscar's eyes were also a little red. But he just said she is sleeping... "

All of their feelings were messed up. Oscar actually tried his best to not show his emotions on his face. But he couldn't smile gently and calmly like he always does at this moment no matter how hard he tried. He felt that they were suspecting things but he didn't even want to open his mouth right now.

First of all, he didn't know how to tell them about anything. Moreover, he felt that if he spoke about it, then he would lose control of his emotions and break down.

After arriving at his bedroom, he opened the lamp and sat by the bedside. Then he kissed her lightly and said.

" Victoria, everyone's here. Wake up."

" Hmm." Victoria felt disturbed and frowned but didn't wake up. Oscar would have let her sleep if it was just about meeting their family but it was lunchtime. She needed to eat on time to be healthy.

He shook her gently and told her again.

" Victoria, it's lunchtime already. Wake up, okay? Our parents have been waiting for you."

Victoria finally woke up. It took her some time to return to her senses. Then she registered Oscar's words and completely woke up. She herself was shocked that she slept for so long and quickly got up.

Oscar assisted her in freshening up. He wasn't willing to leave her for even a while. He was scared that something would happen if he left her alone.

After wiping her hands and face, Victoria walked out with Oscar. Oscar held her hands and didn't let it go.

As they went out, everyone worriedly looked over them. After seeing that Victoria was alright, they finally felt relieved. But they were still a little worried after seeing Oscar.

Victoria smiled after seeing them. She sat down with Oscar and greeted them. While she was talking to them, Oscar tried to feed her some fruits. Victoria eat a few pieces and then stop as they had to eat lunch too.

" Did something happen? You called us so late to come here. Everything is okay right?" Sia asked worriedly.

" Yes, Mom. Everything is okay. Why are you so worried? I called you because... "

Victoria was planning to tell them but Oscar interrupted them. He usually doesn't speak in the middle.

" Let's eat first. We'll talk later."

Everyone was stunned for a moment. Victoria looked at Oscar and confusion swept her eyes. She asked subconsciously.

" Why? Shouldn't we say it now before eating? "

" No. It will get late and then lunch will be delayed. We should eat first."

" But I wanted to say it first... " Victoria pouted cutely. However, Oscar still thought it was better to eat first. He got up and offered his hand to Victoria to take her to eat.

" Well then, let's go. Uncle, Aunty, Mom and dad, Mike, we will talk after lunch. Let's go to eat first. I am also feeling hungry."

Everyone was very confused now. From the way Victoria reacted, she was normal Rather, she was even happy. But Oscar was acting a bit weird. Their temperaments weren't matching as usual. But they still felt that nothing serious might have happened after Victoria came. She brightened everyone's mood.

Even Oscar was normal and back to his loving and caring self since Victoria some. But they still felt that something was wrong. However, everyone ignored it for the time being as it did not seemed too serious and was probably related to what they will hear after lunch.

After lunch was served, they all looked at the lavish lunch which was quite heavy to have at that time and would only be prepared on special occasions. They again wondered if their guesses were right.
