" What? You still seem to have life in your eyes. You should be thankful to Oscar. The world wanted your ashes but he saved your ass. Oscar's way of torture was good but you know what, torturing you or ending your life are both easy sentences for you. Everyone has to die. Killing you won't mean anything. As for torture, you are crazy shit. Torturing you ain't enough to make you feel despair. You still haven't tasted despair but know you will. I will show you the true meaning of despair."

" You know, a person is thoroughly destroyed and actually feels despair when his darkest secret and deepest weakness are shown to the world. And your secret, you might think it was hidden but it ain't. Your weakness, it's very easy to find. Now, from today onwards, you will live every second of your life in despair and I'll make sure you have no way of running away from it. Even suicide ain't your option. After all, didn't you do the same to them?! Your victims!"

Then Victoria turned to Oscar. Her eyes were still that cold-blooded and did not hold a tinge of mercy in them.

" Make him paralyzed and unable to talk. And leave him in the middle of the streets. Make him live. When the demon inside him would be unable to do evil deeds, he will feel tortured every single day. And also, the reason why he becomes a demon, expose it in front of him in the cruellest way. Show him how he ain't no different from the reason he becomes the demon. That's the moment he will taste the true feeling of despair."

Saying that Victoria walked out of there. That place gave her an uneasy feeling. Staying and breathing in the same space as that animal made her feel stuffed up and unable to breathe. So she walked away and came out.

Victoria didn't want to know the reason why that shit become a shit. Because she knew it would be tragic. After all, most people become abnormal because of certain events in life. That's why their targeted victims have many things in common.

Women are soft-hearted. They will feel pity despite everything. And she absolutely didn't want to feel an ounce of pity for that person. Because if everyone becomes like these demons after such incidents, then this vicious cycle will go on and on forever. Not leaving them any leeway to be in peace.

Victoria sat in the car with an inexplicable expression. No one knew what she was thinking. After around half an hour, Oscar finally came out. He looked around and found her in the car. His eyes held a hidden fear that he tried his best to hide.

Silently, he opened the door and sat in the driver's seat. Victoria was leaning on the back of the seat with her eyes closed. Unlike before, Oscar didn't feel calmness or peace in her expression. And it made his heart ache slightly more.

Oscar didn't do anything after entering the car. He didn't know what to do. He wasn't sure driving home was the best thing to do but he didn't have the courage to talk to her and find out what she is thinking. He was actually just afraid of knowing that she might be displeased with what he did.

After a long time, as Oscar was deep in his thoughts while staring dazedly at Victoria, she slowly opened her eyes. Then she sat up straight and turned around to look at him. Oscar was still slightly dazed.

" Let's go. Back to our home." She had an inexplicable look in her eyes as she told him. Oscar was stunned. Her words sent a unique sense of relief into his heart. He felt warm hearing her say the word home.

He obediently listened to her and drove home. While driving, no one spoke and the atmosphere was very silent. But it wasn't tense anymore. Nor was it awkward. It was rather peaceful.

When they entered their home, Victoria went to their bedroom. Oscar followed behind and saw her enter the bathroom. He stood in front of the bathroom door and didn't know what to say.

After some time, Victoria came out. Oscar didn't want to ruin the mood but he knew that making this matter end today was important. He was just afraid it wouldn't end. But Victoria's words gave him hope and courage.

When Victoria come out and saw Oscar standing right in front of the door, she was a little startled. Then before she could do anything. He called out.

" Victoria... "

Victoria looked up at him. Oscar felt that he couldn't read her at all at this moment. But he knew he had to speak so he took a deep breath and continued.

" I wanted to tell you earlier but... " His words were blocked by a gentle pair of lips. His eyes were wide open in shock and before he could come back to his senses, the warmth on his lips was gone.

Victoria held his hand and walked out to the balcony. The wind was cool and refreshing. Holding his hand tightly while looking out, Victoria told him.
