Chapter 72: True Meaning Of Love.

Victoria didn't say anything after that. How could she not know? Oscar made it sound so simple. He only took that little bit of cash. He lived through it. He, who was born with a diamond spoon, worked part-time. He made pottery that we used to buy without looking at the price. He who used to wear custom made dresses now wears a common brand dresses.

He was hardly recognised as the young master Sebastian or the heir of Lazlo Corporation. What had she done to a man like Oscar? He was gifted with everything but had to leave everything behind because of her. And yet he never even had a thought of blaming her or hating her. He only kept loving her. Even though a year passed, he felt the same as before.

Victoria got up and sat on his lap. She circled her hands around his neck and gazed into his hypnotizing eyes. Then her eyes trailed down his nose to his lips. She stared at him for a long time before slowly leaning and kissing him. 

She kissed him tenderly. She broke off to breathe. Then, at last, she left a kiss on his forehead before resting in his arms. Oscar still felt like it was a dream. But even if it was, he just wanted to enjoy it. He felt like he was invincible now that she was with him. 

The next day, Oscar took Victoria to Miyasaki. There was a beautiful waterfall in Miyasaki. Oscar took her there. They walked down the bridge together. It was beautiful scenery and they enjoyed each other's company. 

They stayed there overnight. The next morning, Oscar woke up Victoria before the sunlight. After they got ready, he took her to the waterfall on a small electric yacht. Around ten people can comfortably sit in there. It also had a dock with enough space to enjoy the scenery. 

When they reached there, it was exactly the time when the sky was baby pink. It was very beautiful. Victoria went to the dock and couldn't take her eyes off the sky. As she was entranced by it, Oscar went after her. 

" Victoria." 

Victoria turned around when she heard his voice. But she was stunned. Oscar was kneeling on the ground. He had a ring box in his hands. It had a couple's ring. He had a really loving gaze.

" Victoria, I really love you. More than I ever thought I could love. You are the most beautiful encounter of my life. I was gifted with everything since I was born. But there was one thing I never knew. I never knew how to love someone. But the moment I saw you, I learned the true meaning of love. I left you once... But I can never do that again. I can't let you go, Victoria. That's why I want to ask you.

Will you please marry me so that I can never let you go?! "

Victoria truly didn't expect it at all. They were in a very sweet period of life but she never thought Oscar would ask to marry her so soon after they got together.

" Do you really want to spend your whole life with me?" Victoria asked. Marriage was one decision which can turn your life in a totally good or bad direction. She wasn't going to be hasty about it.

" I don't know how long I'll be alive. But Victoria, I want to spend every single second of my life with you. I want nothing more than you. I just want you to be a part of my life. The moment you entered my life, you become my world. My life roams around you and only you. I can give up everything just to have you. I know you are a bit insecure about these things but I can only prove it to you for the rest of our lives. "

" Then put the ring on my finger." Victoria suddenly said. Of course, she loves him. She wasn't playing around and she surely wanted to marry him. She was just being sensitive. However, Oscar never seemed to have any problems with her negativity. 

When a man wants to marry you, that means he takes you seriously. Though Victoria always doubted men and even despised them, she could not have such feelings towards Oscar because she could feel his love deep in her bones. As her mother said, no one will love her as much as he does. 

Oscar was in a daze. Though he proposed with the hopes of a good outcome, but it suddenly felt like a blessing which overwhelmed him. 

He dumbfoundedly got up and took out his ring. When Victoria put her hand in front of her, his hands trembled as he put the Saphire ring on her finger.

Victoria always liked Saphire. She didn't like things based on their luxury. She liked what she found attractive. Saphire always had a unique attraction to her. Oscar was always aware of that. He found the most precious and beautiful Saphire and custom made it for Victoria. 

Of course, he made it the moment he realised he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her. He thought that would be impossible but still kept these rings as they were precious to him. And finally, he got a chance to use them.

Victoria liked simple things. The Saphire was small and blended well with the white gold. It was simple but most beautiful to Victoria.

She smiled at his trembling hands and took the other ring. She gently picked up his hand and put it on his ring finger.

" Then let's go back to get the certificate first."

Then she kissed him passionately. Oscar was shocked. Because of her words. He thought they would go back after touring the whole of Japan because Victoria seemed to like it. Of course, if possible he wanted to marry her right there. So when he heard her, he was surprised but extremely happy.

Oscar returned the kiss fiercely like he couldn't get enough of her. Victoria break free when she couldn't breathe. She rested against his forehead and said.

" Oscar, I want to have our own little family," Victoria said while still panting a little.

As soon as Oscar heard her words, his eyes flickered sharply. He kissed her fiercely for a long time. Soon, the sun rose but he didn't stop. Only when it was completely bright, did he let her go. Victoria enjoyed his affection and loved him just as much.
