Chapter 124: Watch Me Die Again And Again.

They reached home after having late lunch. Then they walked in their garden for a while. After changing clothes, they sat down on the couch in the living room. After Oscar sat down, Victoria went into his arms. She pulled her legs up and leaned on him comfortably. Oscar also wrapped his hand around her and kissed her over her hair. 

Victoria closed her eyes and listened to his calming heartbeats. It made her feel relaxed. Oscar smiled at her then he picked up a book. After a while, Victoria opened her eyes and saw that he was reading.

" Where are your specks?" Oscar occasionally uses his specks when he is reading or writing in a book.

"It's inside the drawer."

" Why ain't you wearing it?"

" Well... You'll get disturbed if I got up." 

Victoria was stunned for a moment and then she smiled helplessly.

" So what if I am disturbed? It's not a big deal. I would just lean back on the sofa."

" No! It's not just about that. I felt reluctant to let you go. It feels amazing to have you in my arms."

Victoria was left speechless by him. As she chuckled at his words, she embraced him and gave him a sweet peck on the cheek. 

" Your actions make me helpless against you. I won't ever be able to hate you."

" Really?"

" Hmm."

" Then what if one day you come to hate me?"

" That won't happen. I love you too much to ever hate you."

" But what if you do? What could make you hate me despite your love?"

" Come on. Why are you thinking about this? I am not gonna hate you. I know that, okay?"

" But I feel like it is possible that you will hate me one day. Like if I did something terrible just to save you, you might hate me despite the other things."

Victoria was silent for a while as she pondered over his words. They were very deep and she wondered if such a time would come for her. But she knew one thing for sure.

" Oscar, one thing I know about you is that you will never hurt an innocent person. You might think that you are cold but you have a lot of kind sides within you too. Many people say you are cold and that I am just the special one but I know... I know that when someone calls for help and you hear them, you will be there. If not for your sake then mine because you know your wife uses her blood and sweat to save them. So regardless of all, I will love you, Oscar."

Oscar smiled from the bottom of his heart hearing her words. He felt glad to have her in his life.

" Thank you for believing in me."

" Come on! It is your right to have my trust and belief in this relationship. But to be honest, I don't want you to hurt anyone even if they are not innocent and especially for my sake. I know I am asking for a lot but I don't want you to ever taint your hands. It is alright to use a little violence but not to the level where you can't do anything even when you regret it.

Also, as I used to read a lot of novels in the past, I've read one in which the main lead got revenge for his girlfriends by making the antagonist who was a very scheming woman get raped. That really made me uncomfortable. That one thing and murder, one should never resort to this in any situation whether its to avenge for other or whatever.

These two steps, a human should never take. They are not given the right to do that. God didn't allow us to do that. He will take care of those things himself. We ain't anyone to do his work. All we have to do is not cross that particular line. If one does that, then sorry but that person has far crossed the line of humanity and whoever does that should not be treated like a human being anymore.

So... Oscar, I don't want you to ever do something beyond normal or ever taint your hands for my sake. I know you are not the type of person but I can't be sure when its me at the victim's side so please, no matter what happens to me, if I am ever to be hurt, in any possible way, don't ever stoop down to their level for revenge, okay? Please don't do that. My love for you is unlimited. I won't ever be able to hate you. Even if you do something that I hate, it will hurt me the most because I love you. I won't truly be able to hate you. "

Oscar was left in deep and disturbing thoughts hearing her words. He didn't think that far ahead yet but he knew one thing very well. If something were to happen to his beloved Victoria, he would definitely go crazy. And if he is to not do that, then only god knows how he will survive. His eyes got a little red as he looked down at Victoria. Then he asked in a deep emotional voice.

" I might be able to stop myself from that but Victoria... I won't be able to live after that. If you want me to live, then live too."

" Oscar, please! Don't say such things! You know that killing someone else and killing yourself is the greatest sin in the world right? Don't doesn't forgive the people who throw away everything he gives and even their life and die! Our body is lent to us by god. He asked us to return it unharmed. So if you gave it up, god won't forgive us. So, please... Please don't ever do that... "

" But I can't live in hell... "

" No that's not the actual hell. If you do that, then your hell would be to watch me die again and again. That would be your punishment if you commit suicide. So don't you ever do that!"

Oscar was stunned. He can't imagine her dying. Let alone watching her die again and again. No! Just imagining it sent chills down his bone. His back was getting sweaty. 

" Oscar! Oscar! It's okay. Don't worry! I promise I won't get hurt, okay? Not for my sake but for your sake! I love you the most! More than anything, more than my work, more than the world okay! So calm down. It's okay. I am not going anywhere leaving you behind... "
