Chapter 79: Pre-Wedding 1.

So, the wedding was planned to be held after 2 weeks. Oscar couldn't wait for more than that. Neither can Victoria. There was a mess at their house. Victoria instantly left for the capital city so does Oscar. All the functions would be held in the capital city.

After two weeks, on Monday, there will be a wedding hosted by the groom's family while they would have the Reception on Tuesday hosted by the bride's family. Their marriage certificate would be registered and delivered on the morning of their wedding. They had connections so it was no big deal. 

Victoria and Oscar's friends and people from other cities and countries were all called before a week. They were provided with an amazing place to live. Lazlo corporation had the most well-known hotel in the capital. All the hotel was off the market as all the groom's guests were arranged to stay there. Each of them was given the best. 

Oscar provided their tickets to their stay and of course the food. He first called his best friend Asahi from Japan. Then he also had a group of friends. He especially invited Levi as they become good friends but because of his disappearance, they've been apart. Other than that, they had distant relatives and friends. The hotel was busy and full.

Meanwhile, Victoria's family also had one of the best hotels in the capital. It was also off-limits because it was full of the bride's guests. Victoria first called her best friend whom she has yet to meet. He was abroad for the past year. But she knew he would come to her wedding. Yes, the same one she invested in. He was a close buddy to her.

Then she called her friends and colleagues. Hailey, Jan and the other three. Then she called Briana and Ariana. She also specially invited Rosie, Alice and the other victims she knew. They went through a great deal together but she didn't get to meet them yet. 

Then she remembered Sue and called her too. Then came the other people like the cafe owners she met when she woke up. Then some other relatives and friends. 

There was a whole bunch of people and the guests were such big shots. Their parents barely slept the past week. The same goes for Victoria and Oscar. They were deeply involved in the preparations as they wanted to give the other the best and by themselves. They barely got time to talk but still talked for at least ten minutes at night.

This was all a traditional custom. It was their culture. It wasn't compulsory to provide everything for guests but some people still do. Not everyone could afford that after all. Receiving guests, and making sure they are comfortable and provided with necessities, was all a basic thing to do.

The groom's side stayed apart from the Bride's side. Until the wedding, they would be like enemies that would compete against each other. Even if they are good friends with other parties, they had to choose one side to take. At the reception, the bride and groom will themselves have to do something to impress the other side. The best one would win.

Like that, the preparations were done amazingly. Their wedding would be held at a castle that Oscar got to rent. It was ancient and no money could rent it. It was all thanks to his connections. 

Meanwhile, the receptions would be held at the biggest and most beautiful luxurious wedding halls which coincidently belonged to Oscar's family. But of course, they paid for it. 

Slowly, the week came when the guest arrived. Cars after cars were waiting at the airport. Victoria was with her family while Oscar was with his. They were all there to receive their guest.

The guest varies from the international celebrities and their families to political bigshots to the top businessmen in the world. The guests were such big shots that the country was shaken to see the arrival of such big shots in one place.

Even the military generals and world renowned artists were present. You can say that half of the world's famous people were present there.

Both families made arrangements so that their guests came at one time so they can greet them all. Of course, it wasn't possible to escort all of them but they could at least greet them all before seeing them off. Besides cars, they also had buses and vans. 

Such a grand line-up was opposite each other. Victoria's family stayed on the left side of the entrance while Oscar's family was on the right side. It was such a ruckus that all the bystanders stared at them. When they were spotted at the airport with such grandness, the media of course got the news. Though they didn't know what was going on yet, they still got the people and arrived at the scene fastest. 

Seeing the arrival of such bigshots one after another and noticing that they were the guests of Samuelsson and Sebastian, two of the most influential families, left everyone's mind blown. 

Media and reporters are one scary thing. It didn't take them long to find out what was going on. The airport was closed off or else the fans of celebrities would bring the whole city here. 

Oscar and Victoria's family allowed the reporters in with the condition that they should not ask for interviews with anyone. They are only allowed to watch and not interview or take pictures of people. 

They allowed that because they knew the reporters would get restless and in the find out. Then there would be such a mess in the news so they allowed things to start now.

Oscar and Victoria had not seen each other for a week. They stood there waiting for the guests. Every once in a while, they would try their best to peak at each other. However, their families kept quite a strict watch on them. They could barely hold themselves from running to each other as they were only a few meters apart.

And that's when the guests started arriving. Thanks to that, they were busy and distracted.
