Chapter 135: I Am Not Sick.

" I've told you before Oscar. I can never hate you. I can never leave you. Sometimes, I do hate myself for becoming your weakness but that emotion is nothing compared to the importance I held for our relationship. 

I didn't realise it before but after my recent accident, I realised that you are the most important thing to me. Our relationship is my priority. My ways and your ways of things are different. But in the end, we are all doing the same thing. 

Previously, I lost control of my emotions because they reminded me of why I become what I became in the past. I was a pathetic person and it was difficult to just remember that. But I never abandoned my past. 

That past self of mine made me what I am today. When I was like that, I left many regrets for myself. But they were nothing compared to what I achieved. So I just felt my feeling getting out of control with that animal around. I was just trying to calm myself down.

Oscar, you are really the best thing that has ever happened to me. These are my heartfelt words and I hope you would remember them. Now, going forward, I want you to know that I will always and only love you, Oscar. There never was and never will be any other man besides you in my life."

Hearing her words, Oscar tightly hugged her. It was his greatest blessing to be loved so much by the person he loves. After all, it's a very precious blessing that very few people got to have.

They spent a passionate night together and slept on an empty stomach. Just like that, another chapter of their life passed. Things came and go but their love remained the same.

 But that wasn't the end of their beautiful tale. There was much more reaming. Some very happy moments yet some which would make them feel despair. However, it was all far in the future.

They were both very busy with work. Oscar had a very big deal to work on while Victoria had hard cases on her hands. And Victoria was a workaholic. Oscar didn't want to disturb her so he just helped her silently and worked on his own matters. 

After some continuous hectic days, Victoria was finally finished with the case on hand. Meanwhile, it has been some days since Oscar closed the deal. They were still busy but not enough to not take a break for a day or two. So they decided to take a two-day vacation and go to some quiet and beautiful place which is nearby.

They decided this midnight and the next day, they woke up as usual. Oscar woke up earlier and took a bath. And While Victoria was taking a bath, he prepared breakfast and thought about what they would do these two days. He wanted to make a healthy dish so he was making fried rice. But it had no chicken or meat so it wasn't too heavy. Then along with it, he prepared sweet lemon juice. It's a very healthy juice and he especially chose it for her.

He was finishing up while thinking about Victoria. He skillfully mixed the rice and vegetable and shook the pan to mix them well. Just then, he heard footsteps behind him. A smile swept his face as he was going to turn around and look at her.

But before he could do that, Victoria hugged him from behind. Her warm temperature engulfed him. He smiled and asked gently. 

" Good morning~ "

When he said that, he felt her hands tighten around him. Then suddenly, Oscar's smile froze. He felt that she was trembling a little. He got worried and a frown appeared on his face. He was going to turn around to check up on her when he felt something flow in his neck. And soon after he realised what it was. 

Stunned, he froze in his spot. It was Victoria's tears. She was crying badly as his shirt was getting wet. Her body that hugged him was clearly trembling and he heard the sound of her whimpers. Not long after, his shock turned into his panic.

Oscar pulled her hands that tightly hugged him away and anxiously turned around. Seeing her tear-stricken face, he felt worried. Victoria is a very strong and mature person. Such people rarely cry. 

Oscar has very rarely seen her cry. And the situation in which cried was quite serious. A small matter can't make her cry. So seeing her like this, he felt anxious. He was extremely worried about her.

" W-What's wrong? Victoria. What happened? Tell me." He asked so tenderly as if afraid of hurting her more as he wiped her tears with his unsteady hands.

Victoria pursed her lips tightly to control her emotions. However, tears were subconsciously flowing down her eyes which were red. Her voice was trembling and she needed to hold on to something. 

She ran to the kitchen where Oscar was cooking and hugged him tightly. He greeted her warmly and her emotions didn't stabilize even after that. When he turned around, Victoria wanted to speak so as to not worry him but her voice was trembling badly to speak. After a lot of effort, she somehow controlled her emotions a little and spoke.

" O-Oscar. I-I haven't had my periods sin-since two mon-months."

" It's okay! It's nothing to cry about! We'll go to the doctor right now! No. I will call him immediately! Don't-Don't worry!" Oscar's mind was in a complete mess right now after seeing her condition so he didn't have time to think clearly.

As he turned around anxiously, Victoria quickly held him back tightly and spoke while stuttering.

" Stu-Stupid! I-I am not sick. I think-I think I am pregnant!"
