Little by little, time passed by. There was no news of Victoria. When the police received the message, they doubted that it may be a prank call but they still followed the GPS location because if it's not, then it would be a disaster.

For the first time in his life, Oscar felt so desperate. He had never gone through something like this. Being a sole heir, he didn't have siblings and hence, he never felt panic when something happens to his beloved people. From the day he was born, his parents were also alright.

They had a really good protection system so they never got hurt. As for him, he was once on the verge of being abducted but thanks to his training, he delayed the time until his bodyguards reached him.

Now, he suddenly lost Victoria whom he loved and he most likely lost her to the maniac serial killer. His brutal killing methods makes Oscar shiver. For him, honestly, it wouldn't matter much if it was someone else or a stranger. However, imagining Victoria in these conditions makes his heartbeats stop.

All of his life, Oscar was never short on anything. Money, wealth, respect, happiness, friends, and even love. So much that he never once prayed to God. Nevertheless, after 14 hours of Victoria being lost, he stood there in the temple. His forehead touching the ground as he despairingly prayed for her safety and return. For the first time in his life, he couldn't control his emotions or anything. All he could do was wait for the news.

Meanwhile, Victoria woke up after an hour or so. She realized that she was in the trunk of the car and it was still driving. It was a bit dark behind there. She had her hands and feets locked up but her mouth was open. She didn't say anything to avoid trouble for now. She also wanted to get hang on the situation.

As the car moved up and down because of the uneven roads, she felt a slight headache. He was obviously taking her on some weird and unexpected place.

While she was observing her surrounding, she saw a woman. She was stunned for a minute because she knew someone else had been abducted beside her but she couldn't see the face so she didn't know that this woman was the one from the washroom.

For Victoria, this was the first time getting abducted. No matter how cold or however you are, you would still feel scared in such a situation.

She was brave enough to come this far and was also strong enough to fight for her way. Nonethless, she felt her body shacking. Her heart was trembling and her feelings were hazy. She had cold sweats. But, even in such a condition, she was thinking about how to get him captured and how to save that woman. She really had a kind sole. Everything was going silently. Like a calm before a storm.

Her body was shaking, her head was aching, her heart was shivering and yet her eyes were as determined as ever. Her mind was on alert.

Fianly, the car stopped after some time. That men took the woman in back seat out and dropped her somewhere. After  a few minutes, he come to the trunk. When he opened it, he saw that she was awake. Usually, in such situations, the victims try to pretend to be asleep. However, Victoria was smart. She knew she can get caught. If she didn't pretend, maybe she can find out some useful things while watching as he took her away.

Seeing Victoria, that maniac smiled creepily. Victoria found it extremely disgusting so much so that she wanted to vomit. She calmed herself down and tried to stop her body from shacking. She was just as much of a brave person as she was a coward. When it got personal, she got so scared yet when it wasn't personal, it was alright.

Now, in this situation, it was both personal and professional. However, it was mostly personal.

The maniac picked her up and carry her like some slack. Then he roughly threw her to the ground inside some warehouse. As expected, the area was quite remote. All the while, Victoria focused on observing the surrounding.

She also recognised the other woman and felt a bit sorrowful to have failed in saving her. Still, it wasn't to late right now.
