The same translucent purple substance from before took shape around your face, this time mimicking the water McQueen was trying to drown himself in. In a matter of seconds, you and Hermès were flipped upside down to match the guy's position. You could tell the Costello was trying to say something, but it only came out as incoherent gargling.

Dio didn't even have to be told once. He just grabbed McQueen by the back of his shirt and out of the water before you drifted too far away. Dropping the soggy man on the floor, the vampire turned to you, expecting some sort of praise.

"Thanks... Dio..." You then grabbed McQueen by the shoulders, giving him a shake, "Listen, dude! This is not the answer!"

He started crying into you shoulder, "Please! Just let me die! I know I said I'd pay you back, but there's no way a guy like me ever could! And I know you'll never speak to me again! A long time ago, a girl said she'd be my friend and then she moved away! See how pathetic I am?!"

"Wallowing in your own self pity isn't helping you, though, is it? And how do you know that I'll never speak to you again? I'm talking to you now, aren't I?" You tried to calm the guy down. "And what about that priest? Didn't you say talking with him helped you feel better?"

"Screw that, I'm telling it to him straight!" Hermès didn't agree with your current approach. She started shouting at McQueen. "I don't want to be the one you owe your life to, or your friend! If you ever get near me again, I'll fucking kill you!"

He liked the sound of that. "Yes! Please fucking kill me! If a wonderful person like one of you two did it..."

Hermès just straight up bolted out of the restroom, grabbing the disc from the toilet. She had enough of the ludicrous situation and wanted out of there pronto. She thought you were about as weird as McQueen, so she figured you could deal with it.

You, on the other hand, felt that maybe you should keep an eye on the suicidal guy. "The last time someone asked me to kill them, their head was crushed by an ambulance..." You were just making an observation. It was highly unlikely that the same thing would happen here.

"You just let him get ran over because you didn't want to give him the satisfaction of you choking him." Replied Dio, still proud that you had made such a choice. He believed he was teaching you well.

McQueen looked between you and Dio, rubbing his eyes, "Is that a ghost? Am I seeing things?" Apparently he hadn't been paying much attention to him before, too preoccupied with dying.

Dio exchanged looks with you before moving real close to the guy, "Yes, I'm ghost. OoOoh." He tried to make spooky ghost sounds. "And I will make sure your soul suffers for eternity if you don't stop trying to kill yourself. It's pretty annoying, to be honest." The vampire was already slightly questioning Pucci's choice of lackeys. Although it wasn't like his own, the ones he had gathered to kill all the crusaders, had been much better.

"That woman took something out of the toilet when she left. Some kind of disc. I feel like it belongs to me." McQueen stood up from his spot on the floor, pretty much ignoring Dio.

You moved in front of him to stop him from leaving just yet. "Woah there. What are you planning to do?"

"I'm just going to go talk to the priest. Maybe that'll help me..."

"Here, I'll go with you." Just to make sure he didn't try to kill himself on the way there and set off his Stand again.

McQueen covered his mouth with one hand, letting out another sob, "You really are worried about me, aren't you? You're so nice."

"Are you sure we should go with him? Is that even allowed. Male and female prisoners aren't supposed to be hanging out with each other, are they?" Dio seemed almost nervous. Actually a bit worried to have you meet Pucci again.
